Fitness Recipe: Sweet Bars with Quark Cream

Do you like trying new dessert recipes? Then these sweet bars are the right match for you. We’ve decided to swap out the whipped cream for quark, to which we’ve added an extra serving of protein. This turns these bars into a protein-packed snack that you can enjoy even after a workout.

Method:

Let’s start by preheating the oven to 150 °C and then proceed with preparing the batter. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients: xylitol, egg yolks, Flavor Drops, and lemon juice. Whisk thoroughly until the mixture lightens in colour and significantly increases in volume. The batter whisking process takes about 7 minutes.

Next, take a silicone mould for homemade bars, spray it with cooking oil, and fill it about ⅔ full. Place it in the oven preheated to 150 °C and bake for approximately 15 minutes. Then reduce the temperature to 100 °C and bake for an additional 20 minutes. Finally, turn off the oven, but do not open it. Let the bars dry in the oven until completely cooled. Then you can take them out and carefully remove them from the mould, using a knife to lift them from the sides if necessary.

Next prepare the cream. Whisk quark with the protein powder and use it to decorate each bar. Sprinkle a bit of freeze-dried dragon fruit on top, and you’re done.
