You don’t like dry cakes either? Then you’re in the right place today. This delicious treat is supremely moist, and it will also win you over with its captivating aroma. The combination of nuts and chocolate can never go wrong. This cake is proof of that.
Ingredients:
- 250 ml kefir
- 130 g plain spelt flour + to dust the mould
- 90 g cane sugar
- 70 g dark chocolate
- 70 g walnuts
- 50 g wholemeal spelt flour
- 6 g baking powder
- 3 eggs
- a pinch of salt
- butter or oil spray to grease the tin

Method:
Beat the eggs in a bowl, add sugar and whisk until white. Then add kefir, ground or finely chopped nuts and the sifted flour with baking powder and a pinch of salt to the mixture. Stir everything together briefly. Finally, add chopped dark chocolate (70 g). Mix everything thoroughly again. Pour the mixture into the cake tin, which you have previously sprayed with oil spray and dusted with flour.
Place the cake in a preheated oven at 160°C and bake for 40 minutes. Then increase the temperature to 180°C and bake for another 10 minutes. When done, remove from the oven and turn out onto a plate. In a microwave or water bath, melt the chocolate with coconut oil. You can also use a silicone bag for this. Pour this glaze over the cake. Allow to cool and serve.
