Method:

Let’s start with the dough. Whip the quark with the egg yolk and add Flavor Drops to taste. Add flour and knead until you have a smooth, non-sticky dough. Roll it out on a dusted surface and cut it into thin strips. Roll each strip onto a cannoli tube, ensuring it covers the entire surface. Once you have them all ready, place them in the oven preheated to 180°C and bake for about 15 minutes. While still hot, brush the pastries with melted ghee for a nice shine and carefully remove them from the metal tubes. Afterwards, let them cool completely.

Now, let’s prepare the cream. In a bowl, combine quark, cream cheese, and cashew butter, then beat thoroughly. Adjust the taste with a few drops of Flavor Drops if necessary. Then transfer the cream into a piping bag and fill each horn, one after another. When serving, you can dust them with icing sugar, but it’s optional.
