With today’s recipe, we wanted to please everyone who loves rice porridge but is also trying to reduce their calorie or carbohydrate intake. For the preparation, we used our ZERO rice, which has only 7 kcal per 100 g. Flavour drops and strawberry jam then helped us with the resulting taste. And, of course, fresh fruit and crispy nuts are a must as a source of healthy fats. So, will you try this delight?
- 385 g (1 pack) ZERO Rice
- 250 ml low-fat milk (you can use another milk or a plant-based alternative)
- 100 ml water
- 60 g raspberries or other favourite berries (you can also use lyophilized fruits)
- 30 g vanilla protein powder
- 20 g nuts for garnish
- 10 g tapioca flour
- 5 drops strawberry Flavour Drops (optional)
- 3 tsp Strawberry Jammy Spread (you can use any strawberry jam)

Rinse the ZERO Rice in a strainer and then cook it together with the milk. Once the mixture is warm, add protein and 5 drops of Flavour Drops. Cook for about 10 minutes. Then take a bowl with 100 ml of cold water and mix it together with 10 g of tapioca flour. Then add this mixture into the pot with rice and let it warm through together. Once you are happy with the consistency, you can serve rice porridge. Divide the rice porridge evenly in 3 bowls or cups. Finally, decorate each portion with jam, berries and nuts.
