Fitness Recipe: Oat Slices with Blueberries

Great taste, perfect nutritional values, captivating aroma and straightforward preparation. This is exactly how one could briefly describe our oat slices with blueberries that we have created today. They’re perfect for breakfast, as a snack or dessert. The hardest part is deciding what to serve it with. Do you go for the classic nut butter or do you reach for yogurt or ZERO syrup?

Method:

Mix oats with cinnamon, salt and  protein. Add milk, eggs, honey and mix thoroughly. Finally, stir in the frozen blueberries, cashews and pecans, which you can break into smaller pieces or add whole.

Transfer the dough to a smaller baking tray (ours was 20×20 cm) lined with baking paper. Place the slices in the oven and bake for 30 minutes at 180°C. They can be served both hot and cold. We finished them with yoghurt and nut butter. However, you can’t go wrong if you serve the slices with some ZERO syrup, for example.
