The combination of crispy toast, juicy chicken, and fresh vegetables makes this Club Sandwich the perfect meal for days when you need to save time in the kitchen without compromising on macronutrients. Preparation takes only a few minutes, yet it still provides the body with a solid dose of energy and fibre it needs.
We will need:
- 100 g (6 slices) of Italian toast bread
- 50 g (2 slices) of cheese
- 30 g (2 slices) of quality ham
- 50 g of solid portion of RTE chicken breast
- 1 tomato
- little gem lettuce to taste
- 3 tbsp of ketchup (you can also use light mayonnaise)
- 1 ½ tbsp of honey-mustard sauce

Preparation:
We start by preparing the bread. Toast bread slices in a toaster. The specified amount will make two sandwiches, requiring three slices of bread for each. Let’s start by preparing the first sandwich. Spread ketchup on the top side of two toasted slices. On one of them, place a slice of cheese, some lettuce, and drained chicken. On the remaining slice, spread honey-mustard sauce and add a slice of ham and two slices of tomato. Now, we start with layering. The base will be the slice with ketchup, cheese, lettuce, and chicken. Place the slice with ham and tomatoes on top, then cover it with the plain slice with ketchup (spread side facing inwards).

Cut the sandwich diagonally and pierce each half with a toothpick. Prepare the second sandwich in the same way. To make it extra special, you can use light mayonnaise or another favourite sauce inside instead of ketchup. Once finished, serve.
