There are many ways to prepare chicken. So today we’ve incorporated cream, mushrooms and nuts to create a perfectly balanced creamy sauce. The preparation is as simple as can be, so anyone can do it. Rice is a great side to the dish, but you can experiment and try other side dishes too.
For the base we will need:
- 400 g chicken breasts
- 250 g mushrooms
- 150 ml 12% cooking cream (plant-based cream or coconut milk can also be used)
- 100 ml of water
- 60 g baby spinach
- 60 g chopped pecans for serving
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 onion
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ground black pepper to taste
- salt to taste

Procedure:
We peel and finely chop the onion and garlic, then sauté them in olive oil until translucent. Next, we add the cleaned mushrooms, sliced, and sauté them until golden. Then we cut the chicken breast into smaller slices, season with salt and pepper and sauté with onions and mushrooms on all sides.

Then pour water and cream over the dish and simmer for a while. Finally, add the baby spinach, season the sauce with salt and pepper and remove from the stove. Before serving, sprinkle with chopped pecans. The mixture is most suitable served with rice, but you can also try potatoes , bulgur, couscous, pasta or other side dishes.
