Fried lángos with a huge portion of cheese is simply perfect during summer, but we probably all suspect that it is not the healthiest choice. That is why we’ve prepared a little surprise for you in the form of a fitness version of lángos, which are not fried, but baked, and moreover they are enriched with protein. What do you say to that? Let’s get them ready!
- 200 g of water
- 180 g of plain wholemeal flour (spelled/ wheat)
- 30 g of flavorless True Whey protein
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 1 tbsp of baking powder
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- olive oil spray
- calorie-free ketchup
We start the preparation of the dough by mixing the flour with the baking powder, and then we add water, protein, olive oil and salt. We mix everything thoroughly together until we have a uniform dough. Divide the prepared dough using a spoon onto a baking pan lined with parchment paper. Spray the top of the lángos with oil spray, to make them more crunchy. Bake them for 10 – 12 minutes at 170 ℃ until golden brown. When they are done, spread the calorie-free ketchup, sprinkle with your favorite cheese and serve!
