Fitness recipe: Vegan tortilla with high protein content

Do you want to treat yourself with quick and nutritious lunch or dinner? Then you have to try this recipe for tortilla with a huge dose of protein, that contains healthy hemp flour, chia seeds and psyllium. Combination of these ingredients has created not only extreme healthy, but also tasty meal that you will definitely enjoy. Let´s do it!

 

Ingredients:

  • 100 ml of water
  • 35 g hemp protein without flavor
  • 20 g hemp flour
  • 10 g chia seeds
  • 5 g soluble fiber psyllium
  • 1 tbs apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • pinch of salt

 

Ingredients for garnish:

  • 50 g corn
  • 40 g Mexican caramel cream with tofu or hummus
  • sliced spring onion
  • parsley leaves
  • calorie-free Bolognese sauce

 

Instructions:

First of all, mix all loose ingredients - protein, flour, chia seeds, psyllium, baking soda, oregano, salt, and then add water and apple cider vinegar. Mix this mixture well and let stand for 2-3 minutes

 

Heat a non-stick pan and spray it with coconut oil. From the mixture form tortilla with moistened hands, and fry it from both sides for about 5-6 minutes until golden brown. 

 

Spread the tortilla with caramel cream, sprinkle with corn, green onion, parsley leaves and at the end pour Bolognese sauce. Let´s enjoy the meal!
