Fitness Recipe: Easy Flourless Pizza with Mozzarella, Almonds and Yoghurt

We don’t know a person who would not love pizza. But we do know people who refuse to eat it due to its flour dough either for their gluten intolerance or high carbohydrate content. Therefore, we’ve found a way for everyone to enjoy it! This low-carb pizza made with mozzarella, almonds and yoghurt contains no flour! On top of that, the taste of this pizza is very similar to the traditional version, loved by everyone. Come and see yourself!

Ingredients for the dough:

  • 170 g mozzarella
  • 80 g almonds
  • 40 g Greek yoghurt
  • 1 egg

Other ingredients:

  • 100 g tomato puree
  • 70 g mozzarella
  • 1 big tomato
  • 1/2 red onion
  • fresh basil
  • ½ tsp pizza seasoning

Directions:

Melt mozzarella with Greek yoghurt in a pan over a low flame. Add almonds ground into fine flour into the melted mozzarella mixture. Remove the mixture from heat and mix the egg into it once it is cooled down (it should not be hot). Spread the dough on the baking paper creating a round shape and bake it for 6 – 8 minutes at 180 ° C. Then smear the pizza crust with tomato purée, sprinkle it with pizza seasoning, add tomatoes, onions, and fresh basil leaves on top. Bake the pizza for 10-15 minutes and serve it still warm. Enjoy your meal!
