Do you like to rely on classics when preparing dessert? We have one traditional cake in a non-traditional dress for you! Prepare a juicy apple strudel with us, which will please you with its high protein content and amazing combination of flavors. Are you still hesitant?
To prepare the dough we need:
- 250 g low-fat soft cottage cheese
- 200 g instant oatmeal
- 80 g water
- 70 g fine oatmeal
- 50 g almond butter with coconut and white chocolate
- 2 tbsp flavor drops with vanilla flavor
- coconut oil spray
- 2 apples
- 3 tbsp natural sweetener xylitol
- 1 tsp cinnamon
First of all, we mix all the ingredients for the dough together, i.e. cottage cheese, instant oatmeal, water, oatmeal, almond butter a flavor drops, and mix until we have a uniform mass. We prepare baking paper, which we gently spray with coconut oil and place the prepared dough on it. We also spray our hands with coconut oil so that the dough does not stick to them, and roll it nicely on a paper into a thin rectangle.
Meanwhile, grate the apples and mix them with cinnamon and xylitol. Evenly lay the apple mixture on the prepared dough. Then carefully roll the strudel with baking paper, and join it thoroughly at the end and along the edges to prevent the filling from leaking out. Place the prepared strudel on baking paper, on a baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes at 175 ℃. After baking, let it cool down, cut and serve poured with almond butter.
