Our creatine is micronized – milled into significantly finer particles with a size of approximately 200 mesh (at least 70% passes through a 200-mesh sieve). In practice, this means better solubility, a smoother drink and less sediment at the bottom of the glass, especially in the flavoured versions.

Why creatine monohydrate?

Creatine is nothing artificial. Your body creates it on its own in the liver and kidneys and stores it in the muscles as phosphocreatine, instant energy for the first 10–15 seconds of any maximum effort.¹ Supplementation simply tops up these stores to their maximum capacity, which you cannot get from a regular diet (meat, fish). What creatine can do

Creatine is one of the most thoroughly researched supplements ever, and its effects do not end with „greater strength”.

  • Strength and performance. The only officially approved effect according to the EFSA – at 3 g per day, creatine increases physical performance during short, intense and repeated bursts of exercise.² In practice, this means more repetitions and more strength in both explosive and strength performances.⁶
  • Faster recovery. Replenished phosphocreatine stores help restore energy faster between sets and between individual workouts.⁴
  • Muscles as you age. In combination with strength training, it helps slow down the age-related loss of muscle mass and strength (sarcopenia).⁴

How does creatine take effect during the first four weeks?

When you start supplementing with creatine, you increase the phosphocreatine stores in your muscles by 20–40%⁵ and you will gradually begin to feel it:

 
 
 

Weeks 1-2:

Muscles begin to bind water directly inside the cells (not under the skin). You will look fuller and you may gain 1–2 kg on the scale – don't be alarmed, this is exactly what you are trying to achieve.

Weeks 2-3:

The last repetitions will stop being a struggle. On squats, deadlifts or the bench press you will add 1–2 reps, or you will be able to load more weight.⁶

Week 4+:
