How does it work?
Select and order the DNA test on the GymBeam website.
As soon as the test arrives, register your collection kit using the unique ID code in your GymBeam customer account.
Collect your sample using a saliva swab according to the enclosed instructions. Keep in mind that for at least 60 minutes before sample collection, you should not eat, drink, smoke, chew gum, or brush your teeth. For best results, rinse your mouth with water immediately before collection.
We cover all return shipping costs. Simply reach out to our support team once your sample is ready, and we’ll schedule a courier to collect it directly from you - no need to visit a post office or drop-off point.
Once your sample arrives at our lab, please allow 30 business days for processing before your results are ready.
You will find the results in your GymBeam customer account within 30 working days of sending the sample (it may take longer during exceptionally busy periods and holidays). We will let you know via email as soon as they are ready.
After that, you can fully start discovering the secrets of your DNA.
Instructions
1. Open the packaging.
2. Remove the collection swab from the packaging. Be careful not to touch the white tip of the swab.
3. Place the swab into your mouth and thoroughly rub the inside of your cheek or the inside of your lower and upper lips. For standard DNA collection, perform the sample collection for 1 minute. The collection must always last for at least 20 seconds.
Important – make sure you use moderate and sufficiently firm pressure.
4. Insert the collection swab into the enclosed RapiDri packaging so that the tip is placed in the drying area.
5. Fold the RapiDri packaging at the marked fold line, with the transparent side facing inwards. Seal the packaging using the barcode sticker.
6. The box in which your kit arrived also serves as the return packaging, so you will not need any other envelope. Once you seal it with the adhesive strip, it is ready for the courier. Order a free courier pickup of the sample in your account on a day that suits you. You pay nothing and do not have to go anywhere.

Your data is in your hands
We take privacy extremely seriously. The entire analysis is conducted exclusively under a unique anonymous ID code of the collection kit, so your name and contact details are not attached to the sample. The saliva sample is disposed of after the analysis is complete within 90 days, and we never transfer your data to third parties. Only you have access to the results through your secure GymBeam customer account.
