Vitality Complex – a multivitamin with 24 active ingredients and laboratory-verified purity

Vitality Complex is a comprehensive multivitamin for daily micronutrient supplementation. A daily dose of two tablets provides 24 active ingredients. Sixteen of these are vitamins and minerals, led by 500 mg of vitamin C, providing 625 % of the nutrient reference value.

The remaining eight are what set it apart from a standard multivitamin. Four standardised plant extracts, patented DigeZyme® digestive enzymes, coenzyme Q10, alpha-lipoic acid and choline. Active ingredients make up most of the tablet's weight, 661 mg out of 1 140 mg, with only the necessary binder and anti-caking agents making up the rest.

Form matters just as much as quantity

Two multivitamins can show the same number in the nutrition table yet contain completely different raw ingredients. That's why, for Vitality Complex, we selected not just the amount of each ingredient, but its form too.

  • Selenium from selenium-enriched yeast (0,2 %). An organic form in which selenium is bound within the yeast biomass.
  • Vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin. An active form the body can use directly. Cheaper multivitamins rely on cyanocobalamin.
  • Chromium as picolinate, iron as fumarate, zinc as gluconate. All three are organic salts.
  • Vitamin A as retinyl palmitate and vitamin E as tocopheryl acetate. Esterified forms that are more stable in the tablet than free vitamins.

And why is the magnesium in oxide form? Because, of all magnesium compounds, it has the highest proportion of elemental magnesium, at around 60 % by weight. So one hundred milligrams of the raw ingredient contains sixty milligrams of pure magnesium. In a tablet that needs to fit twenty-four ingredients, every millimetre counts. Chelated forms have a significantly lower proportion and simply wouldn't fit here in an effective amount. If your main focus is magnesium rather than comprehensive micronutrient supplementation, choose a standalone product in chelated form.

What Vitality Complex offers beyond standard multivitamins

Many multivitamins offer sixteen vitamins and minerals. Vitality Complex adds eight ingredients rarely found in this category.

Plant extracts, not ground powder

Plant ingredients appear in food supplements in two forms: either as dried, ground plants or as extracts, with the active compounds first extracted and concentrated. Vitality Complex takes the second approach, and each extract has a documented extraction ratio, indicating how much plant material was needed to produce one gram of extract.

  • Grape seed 35:1, standardised to 95 % proanthocyanidins. Fifty milligrams of extract is equivalent to 1,75 g of grape seeds. Proanthocyanidins belong to the polyphenol group, whose effects on cardiovascular markers were examined in a meta-analysis of randomised controlled trials.4
  • Bitter orange 10:1, standardised to 90 % hesperidin, the most abundant flavanone in citrus fruits. The daily dose contains 50 mg of hesperidin, equivalent to 556 mg of fruit. A randomised crossover study examined the effects of hesperidin on vascular endothelial function.5
  • Rosehip 10:1, equivalent to 400 mg of rosehip fruit.
  • Purple coneflower 10:1, equivalent to 400 mg of plant material.

Together, these represent 3,1 g of original plant material per daily dose.

Four extra ingredients you won't find in a standard multivitamin

DigeZyme® (40 mg). A patented complex of five digestive enzymes. Each targets a different nutrient group: alpha-amylase breaks down starches, protease breaks down proteins, lactase breaks down milk sugar, lipase breaks down fats, and cellulase breaks down plant fibre. These five enzymes therefore cover five different nutrients—something single-enzyme supplements cannot offer.1

Coenzyme Q10 (10 mg). In the form of ubiquinone. It occurs naturally in mitochondria, where it participates in electron transfer in the respiratory chain. It is one of the most extensively studied substances in cellular energy metabolism.2

Alpha-lipoic acid (40 mg). It dissolves in both water and fats, allowing it to reach both the aqueous environment inside cells and their membranes. This is unusual among antioxidants, as most are soluble in only one or the other. A scientific review describes it as part of the antioxidant network, where it helps regenerate vitamin C and vitamin E to their original forms.3

Choline bitartrate (50 mg). A source of choline, which serves as a precursor to acetylcholine and phosphatidylcholine, a phospholipid that forms a structural component of cell membranes.

What Vitality Complex offers beyond standard multivitamins
Regularly tested in Germany

Vitality Complex is tested in Germany, at a laboratory accredited to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018, the international standard for the competence of testing laboratories. Accreditation is granted by Germany's DAkkS.

Testing covers levels of lead, cadmium and mercury and microbiological purity, specifically yeasts, moulds, Escherichia coli, coliform bacteria and Salmonella. For each batch, the laboratory also assesses compliance with Regulation (EU) 2023/915, which sets maximum levels for contaminants in food.

The full reports are openly available in the Laboratory Tests section directly on the product page.

When Vitality Complex has the most to offer

Sixteen vitamins and minerals cover several areas at once.

  • You don't have time for a varied diet. When your diet comes down to whatever is at hand, micronutrients are the first to go. Two tablets provide sixteen of them at once.
  • You've had a week that's left you drained. Vitamin C, B vitamins, magnesium and iron help reduce tiredness and fatigue. B vitamins and magnesium also contribute to normal psychological function.
  • You go to the gym or run. Magnesium contributes to normal muscle function and, together with B vitamins, to normal energy-yielding metabolism.
  • During autumn and winter. Vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin B6, B12, folic acid, zinc, selenium and iron all contribute to the normal function of the immune system.
  • You're looking after your hair, nails and skin. Zinc and selenium contribute to the maintenance of normal hair and nails, while biotin and vitamin A contribute to the maintenance of normal skin. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin.
  • You're a woman keeping an eye on your iron intake. Iron contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells and normal oxygen transport in the body. Vitamin C taken in the same dose also increases iron absorption. Vitamin B6 contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity.
  • You're eating less than before, perhaps due to GLP-1 products. Two tablets supplement your micronutrient intake without you having to eat anything extra.
  • You're vegan or vegetarian. Free from animal-derived ingredients, with vitamin B12 in the active form of methylcobalamin.

I particularly appreciate these vitamins because they do not have the gelatinous coating, which often reduces absorption capacity. We know that the body does not absorb all the units from vitamins, and in this form, they are excellent. For many years, I have taken several vitamins daily, including a complex vitamin tablet. I have not caught a cold in over 10 years, and I will continue to use these long-term; I like them.

If you are unable to decide which vitamin to purchase from our wide range, the vitality complex is the right choice. This excellent product is rich in essential vitamins that both athletes and everyday individuals need to consume to ensure their bodies function without issues. In a single serving, which consists of taking 2 tablets, you will find vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. It is recommended to take 2 tablets per day, for example, 1 tablet in the morning and 1 after training or after lunch. Personally, I always take it together with a meal in the morning hours. I feel great, healthy, and vital, and I consistently deliver outstanding performance in sports. For me, a big thumbs up for this product.
