L-Lysine - an essential amino acid important for protein production

L-Lysine contains 500 mg of the essential amino acid lysine in tablet form. It is a substance that occurs naturally in food, but the body cannot make it on its own. Lysine is a building block of proteins that are involved in the growth and maintenance of muscle mass, but also healthy bones.

                                                           

L-Lysine is also involved in the formation of carnitine, which ensures the transfer of fatty acids to the mitochondria. Lysine is also involved in the production of hormones, antibodies, enzymes and collagen.
