Air Bike, also known as assault bike is a cardio workout machine that will help you improve your endurance while effectively burning calories. It differs from a regular exercise bike in that it has a built-in fan that applies resistance based on how fast you pedal. Another marked difference is that its handles are also connected to the system which regulates the intensity of the resistance depending on their movement. Air Bike has soft handles and an adjustable, comfortable seat, which can be moved to the required height and distance from the handles using a moveable lock, meaning it's simple to adapt it to your particular stature. It comes equipped with a neat LCD display, which makes it even more user-friendly. Once you turn the display on, it starts measuring time, distance travelled, the amount of calories burned or the number of revolutions per minute (RPM). In case you use a chest strap with a heart rate sensor (not included in the package), it will connect to the display and show your current heart rate.


The display can also be used to select one of the pre-set programs using the buttons available. For example, you can try the 20/10 interval, during which you do 20 seconds of exercise and 10 seconds of rest. The device also allows you to set up your own interval training values, or work towards a target time, distance or calories burned. Making use of these options, Air Bike becomes a great tool for high intensity interval training (HIIT). Naturally, it is just as useful for regular cardio or endurance training sessions, during which you ride at a lower intensity for longer periods of time. During your workouts, you’ll also no doubt appreciate the practical bottle holder attached to the frame, which allows you to keep your shaker with water close at hand. Last but not least, Air Bike is also useful for the warm-up and cool-down phases of your strength training.
