Crazy Pump 2.0 – a power-packed pre-workout with 15 active ingredients, developed in collaboration with IFBB Pro Petar Klančir

Crazy Pump 2.0 is not just a stimulant. It is complete training fuel, created in collaboration with Petar Klančir, the first Croatian IFBB Pro bodybuilder.

One 26g serving contains 15 active ingredients. The main ingredient is citrulline malate in a 2:1 ratio at 7 g, alongside 10 g of fast-acting carbohydrates from dextrose and fructose, and 3 g of creatine. Energy and focus are supported by 200 mg of caffeine with 1 000 mg of L-tyrosine.

The formula is rounded off with 1,5 g of betaine hydrochloride, one gram each of taurine and glycerol monostearate, pine bark extract 20:1, chromium, niacin, vitamin B6, pink Himalayan salt and the patented pepper extract BioPerine® with a 95% piperine content. All this in a refreshing green apple flavour.

Crazy Pump 2.0 – a power-packed pre-workout with 15 active ingredients, developed in collaboration with IFBB Pro Petar Klančir
A formula built on a pro's experience

Petar Klančir is the first Croatian to earn an IFBB pro card. He has spent nearly twenty years on stage and in the gym, trying more pre-workouts in that time than most people have tried protein powders, and he knew exactly what he wanted in them.

His journey to the top has clear milestones:

  • 2012 — NABBA Mr. Universe title
  • 2014 — overall Balkan champion
  • two-time runner-up at the Arnold Classic Amateur
  • 2015 — overall winner of Mr. Olympia Amateur in Prague and recipient of an IFBB pro card

We therefore developed Crazy Pump 2.0 in collaboration with him. The result is a pre-workout where every ingredient has its place, creating the ideal start to your training.

Pump, strength and focus in one serving

Maximum pump

The pump is supported by citrulline malate in a 2:1 ratio, with 7 g per serving. This is an amount commonly used in scientific literature.

Citrulline is an amino acid that the body converts into L-arginine. It raises blood arginine levels more reliably than arginine administered directly. This is because citrulline bypasses the first pass through the liver, where a large portion of ingested arginine is broken down before it reaches circulation.¹ Arginine is the precursor for the production of nitric oxide (NO), a molecule involved in blood vessel dilation and blood flow.¹ Increased blood flow to working muscles is what creates the muscle pump sensation that has made citrulline popular among strength athletes.²

Its potential is further supported by 1 000 mg glycerol monostearate, a substance that binds water, and 100 mg pine bark extract in a 20:1 ratio with 95 mg procyanidins. We also added 250 mg pink Himalayan salt, providing sodium and chlorides, which are among the electrolytes.

Creatine for increased performance

Creatine increases physical performance during successive bursts of short-term, high-intensity exercise. The beneficial effect is achieved with a daily intake of 3 g, which you get in every serving. In practice, this can mean more reps per set or more weight on the bar.

This is not just a symbolic amount listed on the label, but an effective dose you would otherwise have to buy separately. We used the proven and most extensively researched form, creatine monohydrate, which is used in the vast majority of published studies.

Caffeine for focus in every rep

While creatine works in the muscles, caffeine acts on the nervous system, which is why they are found together in pre-workouts. This stimulant helps improve concentration, alertness and attention. One scoop contains an effective dose of 200 mg caffeine, roughly equivalent to two espressos.

It is complemented by 1 000 mg L-tyrosine, an amino acid that acts as a precursor of catecholamines in the body, a group of substances that includes dopamine and adrenaline.3 The formula also contains 1 000 mg taurine, one of the most common ingredients in pre-workout blends.

Energy from carbohydrates, not just caffeine

Most pre-workout supplements contain no carbohydrates at all. Crazy Pump 2.0 contains 10 grams per serving. These come in two different forms for a reason.

Dextrose is glucose, a sugar the body uses most quickly. Fructose is absorbed in the body through different transporters, so they do not interfere with each other. The ratio is approximately 3:2 in favour of dextrose.

Their metabolism is supported by chromium, of which there is 120 µg per serving, i.e. 300 % of the nutrient reference value (NRV). Chromium contributes to normal macronutrient metabolism and the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels.

It is complemented by niacin with 100 % NRV and vitamin B6 with 200 %. Both support normal energy metabolism and help reduce fatigue and exhaustion. Vitamin B6 also contributes to normal protein and glycogen metabolism, with glycogen being the storage form of carbohydrate in the muscles. In addition, it contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity.

We used niacin in the form of nicotinamide, not nicotinic acid. The latter, at 30 mg, causes the so-called flush, meaning reddening and burning of the skin that users of older pre-workouts may know. Nicotinamide (flush-free niacin) does not cause it.4

Energy from carbohydrates, not just caffeine

Who is Crazy Pump 2.0 for?

  1. Want maximum pump?
Citrulline supports nitric oxide production, helping working muscles prepare for even the most intense performance. The 7 g dose of citrulline malate is close to those used in performance studies.2
  2. Lift heavy weights?
Creatine is especially useful for short, intense sets with rest periods in between. Vitamin B6 also contributes to normal protein and glycogen metabolism, with glycogen being the storage carbohydrate in muscles.
  3. Need to get into the groove after work?
Caffeine helps increase alertness and improve concentration. It is complemented by tyrosine, a precursor of dopamine and adrenaline, and vitamin B6 with niacin, which contribute to normal psychological function.
  4. Need energy to get started?
10 g of fast-acting carbohydrates provides the body with fuel exactly where it needs it. To help the body use them more efficiently, we have added chromium, which supports normal macronutrient metabolism and the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels.
  5. Have demanding, long workouts?
Niacin and vitamin B6 help reduce tiredness and fatigue and support normal energy metabolism, meaning the release of energy from consumed nutrients.
  6. Don't want to deal with three supplements separately?
You get creatine, citrulline and caffeine in one scoop, not in three tubs.
  7. Want a trusted supplement?
We regularly test our products in independent laboratories for heavy metals and microbiological purity.
