Oolong Tea is an exceptional loose tea, which, thanks to its specific processing, is located exactly in the middle between green and black tea. In Chinese, it is known as wūlóng chá, blue-green tea or, literally translated, black dragon. It is 100% pure tea from the leaves of the Chinese tea tree (Camellia sinensis), whose secret lies in the process of semi-oxidation. Unlike green tea, which is almost unoxidised, and black tea, which undergoes full oxidation, Oolong is somewhere in the middle. This carefully controlled process gives it its characteristic colour and, above all, an extraordinarily rich and complex flavour.

The resulting drink is often full-bodied and offers a wide variety of flavour nuances. These can resemble blooming flowers, ripe fruit, and sometimes subtle roasted, nutty or honeyed notes. It's a multi-layered experience that can subtly change with each sip. To prepare it properly, it is important to maintain a water temperature of 85°C and an extended infusion time of 3-5 minutes.
