From pasture directly to the scoop. Just Whey is produced from liquid whey sourced from our supplier's own facility, which undergoes membrane ultrafiltration at low temperatures. This ensures that only pure proteins reach the final product—no fillers or thickeners.

The final protein is manufactured in our own production facility in Germany, where it is flavored to its final form. The product is then sent to independent German laboratories for testing of heavy metals, microbiology, amino acid profile, and nutritional values. Why does whey have the highest bioavailability among common proteins?

The amount of ingested protein that the body actually utilizes depends on two factors: its amino acid composition and the extent to which it is absorbed in the small intestine. Professional protein quality assessments combine these two factors into a single score—PDCAAS and its newer, more accurate successor, DIAAS.¹

Whey ranks at the absolute top in both systems. In PDCAAS, it achieves the maximum score of 1.00; nothing higher is possible on this scale. In the DIAAS system, which measures the absorption of individual amino acids at the end of the small intestine, whey isolate reaches 1.09, closely followed by whey concentrate at 0.97.² Just Whey combines precisely whey concentrate, isolate, and hydrolysate—fractions with the highest DIAAS values.
