Just Whey is whey protein from milk of cows that graze freely on grass. It combines three sources of whey proteins: concentrate (WPC), isolate (WPI), and hydrolysate (WPH), which is enzymatically broken down into shorter peptides. One 30 g scoop contains at least 22 g of protein, a complete spectrum of essential amino acids, and 6.5 g of BCAAs. The formulation is enhanced with six digestive enzymes – five in the patented DigeZyme® complex plus bromelain – and micronutrients that conventional proteins do not utilize.

Where does the whey in Just Whey protein come from?

From pasture directly to the scoop. Just Whey is produced from liquid whey sourced from our supplier's own facility, which undergoes membrane ultrafiltration at low temperatures. This ensures that only pure proteins reach the final product—no fillers or thickeners.

The final protein is manufactured in our own production facility in Germany, where it is flavored to its final form. The product is then sent to independent German laboratories for testing of heavy metals, microbiology, amino acid profile, and nutritional values. Why does whey have the highest bioavailability among common proteins?

The amount of ingested protein that the body actually utilizes depends on two factors: its amino acid composition and the extent to which it is absorbed in the small intestine. Professional protein quality assessments combine these two factors into a single score—PDCAAS and its newer, more accurate successor, DIAAS.¹

Whey ranks at the absolute top in both systems. In PDCAAS, it achieves the maximum score of 1.00; nothing higher is possible on this scale. In the DIAAS system, which measures the absorption of individual amino acids at the end of the small intestine, whey isolate reaches 1.09, closely followed by whey concentrate at 0.97.² Just Whey combines precisely whey concentrate, isolate, and hydrolysate—fractions with the highest DIAAS values.

Composition that does not burden digestion

The heavy feeling after protein intake is usually caused by two factors: residual lactose and protein that must undergo the entire digestion process. Just Whey addresses both at the composition level, meaning through the formulation of the blend, not by adding extra ingredients.

Six additional digestive enzymes

Just Whey contains a patented DigeZyme® complex from Sabinsa, comprising five enzymes, plus bromelain – a proteolytic enzyme derived from pineapple. Together, these form six enzymatic components that are not found in standard whey proteins.

Enriched with magnesium, zinc, and vitamins B6 and E

While standard proteins focus solely on macronutrients, Just Whey also includes intentionally added micronutrients. Magnesium, zinc, and vitamins B6 and E are added to the blend, while calcium occurs naturally in the whey.

Zinc – 80% NRV per serving: contributes to the maintenance of normal testosterone levels in the blood and to normal immune system function.⁴
Vitamin B6 – 356% NRV per serving: contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and to the regulation of hormonal activity.⁴
Vitamin E – 167% NRV per serving: contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.⁴
Calcium – 17% NRV per serving, naturally from whey: contributes to normal muscle function and to the normal function of digestive enzymes; it is required for the maintenance of normal bones and teeth.⁴

Composition that does not burden digestion

Taste of genuine freeze-dried fruit

Protein that you do not enjoy, you drink once. That is why, with Just Whey, we focused not only on the composition but also on what you experience in the glass. Fruit flavors contain lyophilized powder, meaning freeze-dried fruit. Lyophilization is a gentle drying process during which the fruit is not exposed to high temperatures, thus preserving its natural taste and color. You will notice the difference immediately: the taste is fuller and less artificial compared to flavors based exclusively on aroma.

No grains and no lumps

Membrane-processed whey dissolves easily. All you need is a shaker, 200 to 300 ml of liquid, and a few seconds. The texture is smooth, without any sandy sensation on the tongue.

A range of flavors and one completely natural option

You can choose from flavors such as chocolate milkshake, gourmet vanilla, vanilla ice cream, white chocolate with coconut, salted caramel, cookies & cream, banana, and blueberry yogurt. If you do not want any sweeteners or aromas, opt for the unflavored version – it is pure whey and nothing else. You can also use it for baking or in savory recipes.

Why whey is the reference source of protein

Whey protein contains a complete spectrum of essential amino acids and, among common protein sources, has one of the highest proportions of leucine.³ Combined with the highest class of absorbability, this is why scientific literature refers to it as the reference source of protein for strength training. Composition and dosage

Whey protein concentrate, whey protein isolate, whey protein hydrolysate, flavouring, colourant (curcumin), minerals (magnesium salts of citric acid, zinc oxide), vitamins [vitamin E (DL-alpha-tocopheryl acetate), vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride)], DigeZyme® - digestive enzyme blend (alpha-amylase, protease, lactase, lipase, cellulase), bromelain, sweeteners (sucralose, steviol glycosides).

Dosage

Mix 1 scoop (approx. 30 g) with 200 to 300 ml of water or milk in a shaker. This provides your body with at least 22 g of protein and 6,5 g of BCAAs. Take 1 to 3 times a day according to your needs and total protein intake.

With water, the drink is lighter; with milk, it is creamier and higher in protein and calories, which is suitable for bulking.
You can also add the protein to porridge, smoothies, yoghurt, or batter for pancakes and muffins.
You can also use the unflavoured version in savoury dishes, for example in pizza dough, sauces, or soups.
