Just Whey is a whey protein made from the milk of cows that graze freely on grass. It combines three sources of whey protein: concentrate (WPC), isolate (WPI) and hydrolysate (WPH), the last of which is enzymatically broken down into shorter peptides. One 30 g scoop contains at least 22 g of protein, the full spectrum of essential amino acids and 6.5 g of BCAAs. The formula also includes six digestive enzymes – five in the patented DigeZyme® complex plus bromelain – and micronutrients not included in standard protein powder formulations.
In scientific assessments of protein quality, whey achieves the highest possible score of PDCAAS 1.00, the top of the scale.¹ The body can utilise almost all of the whey protein it takes in. Just Whey therefore provides highly digestible and readily utilised protein that contributes to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass.¹
From pasture straight to your scoop. Just Whey is made from liquid whey from our supplier’s own facility, which undergoes membrane ultrafiltration at low temperatures. This means the protein powder contains only pure protein and nothing extra – no fillers or thickeners.
We produce the finished protein powder in our own facility, where we add the flavouring to complete it. We then send the product to independent laboratories for heavy metal testing, microbiological testing, amino acid profiling and nutritional analysis. Why does the body utilise whey better than other common proteins?
How much of the protein you consume your body actually uses depends on two things: its amino acid composition and how much of it is absorbed in the small intestine. Scientific protein quality assessments combine these two factors into a single number – the PDCAAS score and its newer, more accurate successor, DIAAS.¹
Whey ranks at the very top in both systems. It achieves the maximum PDCAAS score of 1.00 – the highest possible value on this scale. In the DIAAS system, which measures the absorption of individual amino acids at the end of the small intestine, whey isolate scores 1.09, closely followed by whey concentrate at 0.97.² Just Whey combines whey concentrate, isolate and hydrolysate – the fractions with the highest DIAAS scores.
Three sources of whey in one scoop
- Concentrate (WPC) – provides natural whey fractions.
- Isolate (WPI) – a higher protein concentration and lower lactose content.
- Hydrolysate (WPH) – protein already broken down into shorter peptides by enzymes.
A heavy feeling after taking protein usually has two causes: residual lactose and protein that has to go through the full breakdown process. Just Whey addresses both through its formulation, in other words, through the way the blend is put together, not through extra additives.
Six additional digestive enzymes
Just Whey contains the patented DigeZyme® complex from Sabinsa, which consists of five enzymes, plus bromelain – a proteolytic enzyme extracted from pineapple. Together, these make up six enzyme components not found in standard whey proteins.
Enriched with magnesium, zinc and vitamins B6 and E
While standard protein supplements stop at macronutrients, Just Whey also contains specifically added micronutrients. Magnesium, zinc and vitamins B6 and E are added to the blend, while calcium comes naturally from whey.
- Zinc – 80 % NRV per serving: contributes to the maintenance of normal testosterone levels in the blood and to the normal function of the immune system.⁴
- Vitamin B6 – 356 % NRV per serving: contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and to the regulation of hormonal activity.⁴
- Vitamin E – 167 % NRV per serving: contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.⁴
- Calcium – 17 % NRV per serving, naturally from whey: contributes to normal muscle function and to the normal function of digestive enzymes; it is needed for the maintenance of normal bones and teeth.⁴
If you don't like the taste of a protein shake, you'll only drink it once. That's why, with Just Whey, we focused not just on the ingredients, but also on the drinking experience. The fruit flavours contain powdered lyophilised, or freeze-dried, fruit. Lyophilisation is a gentle drying process in which the fruit is not exposed to high temperatures, so it retains its natural taste and colour. You'll notice the difference straight away: the taste is fuller and less artificial than when flavouring alone is used.
No grit, no lumps
Membrane-processed whey dissolves well. All you need is a shaker, 200 to 300 ml of liquid and a few seconds. The texture is smooth, with no gritty feel on your tongue.

Dosage
Mix 1 scoop (approx. 30 g) with 200 to 300 ml of water or milk in a shaker. This provides your body with at least 22 g of protein and 6.5 g of BCAA. Take 1 to 3 times daily according to your needs and total protein intake.
- With water, the shake is lighter; with milk, it is creamier and higher in protein and calories, making it suitable for bulking.
