Ice Bath Compact – Complete Set with Cooling and Heating Unit 3–50 °C, Ozone, and Filtration

Ice Bath Compact Cold Plunge Tub is everything you need for cold plunging at home or outdoors, all in one package. The heart of the set is the cooling and heating unit, which, thanks to adjustable temperature settings, can both cool the water for cold plunging and heat it, allowing you to use it year-round. The tub itself has a volume of 480 litres (recommended fill level between 1/2 and 2/3), is made of high-quality PVC, and the package includes an inflatable lid, air pump, repair kit, and storage bag.

Cools and Heats

Unlike standard cold plunge tubs, this unit can do both, allowing you to set the temperature precisely within the range of 3–50 °C. This is beneficial for two reasons. No one jumps straight into three degrees, and tap water in winter is often colder than you are comfortable with; therefore, you can set it to, for example, 15 °C, stay at that temperature for a few weeks, and gradually lower it as you acclimate. Cold plunging is a gradual process and cannot be done with a tub full of ice. On the display, you can see both numbers side by side: on the left, the current water temperature; on the right, the target temperature you are aiming for.

Heating also protects the unit itself. Water that freezes in the hoses or inside the unit can damage it (and this is one of the reasons for claim rejection), so if you leave the tub outside during freezing weather, you can keep it above zero using the heating function.

Benefits for the Body

Immersing yourself in cold water is currently one of the most popular wellness rituals. Athletes often incorporate it after intense training as part of their recovery routine and for relief for tired muscles. Many people use cold baths year-round as part of their fitness regimen, resilience, and immune support, while others love it for that unique feeling of freshness and "boost". Then there is the mental aspect – overcoming the first few seconds in ice-cold water is a small challenge for willpower, followed by a pleasant feeling that you have done something for yourself. Whether you plunge for your body, your mind, or both, having your own tub means it is always at your fingertips.

Clean Water Without Unnecessary Chemicals

Hygiene is ensured by a dual system. Ozone disinfection (O3) helps keep the water clean and reduces the need for chemical additives. Additionally, a removable and washable stainless steel filter (80 mesh, 180 μm) captures even fine impurities as small as 0.18 mm. The filter only needs to be rinsed every 2–3 weeks – do not forget to clean it, as a clogged filter will restrict water flow and can irreversibly damage the unit.

Performance and Mobility

A pump with a flow rate of 1,200 liters/hour ensures rapid circulation and even cooling. The unit operates on natural refrigerant R290, has an IPX4 rating, and is designed for continuous operation (after 7 days of non-stop use, we recommend a few hours of rest). Four wheels with brakes facilitate movement, and the inflatable tub can be folded into the storage bag after draining. In case the PVC ever gets punctured, a repair kit is included in the package – simply apply the patch, and after approximately three hours, the tub is ready for use again.

Who Is It Suitable For

• You exercise and need recovery: Cold baths are a popular part of recovery routines after training.
• You are a beginner and three degrees scare you: Set the temperature you are comfortable with and gradually lower it as you acclimate.
• You want to plunge year-round: The unit cools and heats, so you can use it in every season.
• You do not want to deal with ice: The water is automatically cooled to the set temperature; you do not need to buy ice.
• You need flexibility: Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, on wheels, and easy to store.

How to Use the Ice Bath Compact

Place the tub on a level and solid surface. Keep in mind that at the recommended fill level, the water alone weighs approximately 240–320 kg (excluding the person and the unit) – therefore, before placing it on a balcony, terrace, or in an apartment on an upper floor, verify the floor load capacity. We also recommend placing a protective mat under the tub to protect the surface beneath. Then, inflate the tub using the included pump and fill it with water to 1/2, up to a maximum of 2/3 of its volume. Place the cooling unit next to the tub, lock the wheels, and connect it using the supply and return hoses (2 m). Do not forget to connect the short condensate drain hose on the bottom side of the unit. If the connections are not watertight, check the rubber seals at the hose ends or use Teflon tape.

Before starting the pump, ensure that the valves are open and the tub is filled – never start the pump dry. Then turn on the unit, start the pump, and use the arrows to set the target temperature. Disinfect the water by pressing the O3 button.

Safety and Care

Never leave a filled tub unattended and keep it out of reach of children and animals – there is a risk of drowning with filled water. Place the unit and the tub on a level, solid, and dry surface. Never start the pump dry and never allow water in the system to freeze – both can damage the unit. Protect the tub from prolonged direct sunlight and keep it away from fire and sharp objects. When using outdoors, protect the unit from heavy rain and snow – IPX4 rating means resistance to splashing water, not against continuous rain. Do not operate the control panel with wet hands, and plug it into a grounded outlet. Do not use strong chemical agents, such as concentrated chlorine or pool chemicals, for cleaning – they can damage the PVC and internal parts of the unit. After use, drain the water, wipe the tub, and let it dry completely before storage. Clean the filter every 2–3 weeks.
