However, it has some issues: first, the enormous amount of vitamin C per serving. Any athlete uses various multivitamins, and adding an extra 900 mg of vitamin C merely places unnecessary strain on the kidneys and can cause digestive problems. Secondly, it does not specify which types of collagen it contains or in what quantities. In general, products without type II collagen do not have a significant effect on pain caused by cartilage wear.
