Those who do not know what konjac is will likely be surprised, just as I was. The package emits an odor upon opening, but rinsing it under water for 2–3 minutes is sufficient. It has no distinct taste; you will feel as though you are eating gelatin. You can consume it for up to two hours because it is extremely filling.
