RBD Coconut Oil is a versatile vegetable oil that you can use to prepare both savoury and sweet dishes. The abbreviation RDB means that it is refined, bleached and deodorized coconut oil. Most of its ingredients profile consists of medium-chain triglycerides (MCT). Unlike regular long-chain fatty acids, these are faster to digest.

This oil comes from dried coconut pulp called copra. It is processed through a refining process, during which the oil is released from the pressed copra. It is then bleached, deodorized and filtered to remove all impurities. The resulting coconut oil is without fragrance or coconut flavour and with a high smoke point that ranges between 200-230 °C.

Thanks to its properties, RBD Coconut Oil is a popular ingredient in the kitchen. You can use it in cooking, baking, sautéing, frying and deep-frying because it can withstand high temperatures and, unlike virgin oils, does not change the taste of the ingredients. It is thus suitable for frying vegetables, meat, tofu and pancakes or crêpes. You can also use it for baking cookies, desserts or as an ingredient for a chocolate coating. It has a solid consistency, which softens at temperatures above 23 °C. You can also use it as an ingredient in cream or spreads. In addition, its purely plant-based ingredients profile makes it suitable for vegans.
