Soy Isolate - a plant-based protein powder with a favourable amino acid spectrum and a delicious taste that stands out in dishes and drinks

Soy Isolate is a plant-based protein powder with the content of a spectrum of amino acids that most closely resembles that of a whey protein powder. This is what makes it the go-to choice of vegans, but also other people. It boasts a high content of high-quality protein, which will help with muscle growth and maintaining the health of bones. It is sure to be appreciated by athletes who are engaged in strength training and want to achieve the best results regarding muscle growth. In connection with this, we must highlight the fact that of all the essential amino acids included, the most represented one is leucine.

However, this protein powder makes for a great companion even for every enthusiast of a healthy lifestyle. This is because of several reasons. The first is its favourable ingredient profile, as it contains no gluten or lactose, which makes it suitable for people who avoid these substances. It contains no fat, has a low sugar content, and is also GLP-1 friendly. This makes Soy Isolate suitable even for the most demanding athletes, such as fitness athletes or bodybuilders in prep, who keep a close eye on literally every gram of sugar, fat, and protein. Next we have its delicious taste, due to which it once again ranks among the top tier plant-based protein powders.

Last but not least, it is well-soluble, which is yet another benefit when compared to many other plant-based proteins. This makes it an optimal choice for preparing a post-workout drink. That said, you can also add it to smoothies, your favourite porridge, desserts and other dishes, which it will enrich with a fair dose of protein. This will come especially handy if you are trying to maintain a balanced diet and want to enrich each dish with enough of all macronutrients.

No matter if your goal is to gain muscle mass, lose weight or eat healthy and stay in shape, in all these cases, it is important that your diet contains enough protein. Soy Isolate is therefore an effective way to meet the recommended daily protein intake, and as a result, get closer to your goals.

    Flavor: chocolate, vanilla
Perhaps one of the best proteins out there for vegan individuals. A very good protein ratio and quite easily soluble in water, with the chocolate flavor being delicious.

    Flavor: chocolate, vanilla
I am giving a positive rating because this protein suits me well for porridge—it thickens better than whey protein... and also for dough, for example for pancakes or cottage cheese balls. In terms of taste, it is nothing extraordinary for me, and you need at least 300–350 ml of water per scoop to avoid the feeling of drinking sand. But it is doable :-)

Extremely over-sweetened with artificial sweetener; never again. A fraction of the sweetener would have been sufficient.

    Flavor: vanilla
For this price, it is a very good protein. I chose the vanilla flavor and I like that it is neither extremely sweet nor overly fragrant. It does not dissolve very well with milk; perhaps it is easier to mix with a blender, however, this does not bother me, as it is a common issue I have observed with all the vegan proteins I have tried. It is worth trying; I will also purchase the chocolate flavor. It arrived in approximately 30 hours from the time the order was placed.

    Flavor: chocolate, vanilla
I have already tried the chocolate version several times, so I decided to try the vanilla one this time. When comparing them, I prepare the chocolate version with 300 ml of water, whereas the vanilla version requires only 250 ml to avoid a watery taste. At this ratio, the vanilla version is subjectively even tastier than the chocolate one. The disadvantage of the vanilla version is that it foams excessively (the chocolate version does not). After mixing, I have one part of the drink to two parts of foam in the shaker. :( Therefore, I give the chocolate version 5 stars and the vanilla version 4 stars – but it is definitely worth trying if you have grown tired of the chocolate version.

    Flavor: vanilla
Delivers what is expected from soy: dissolves well, has a good texture, and lacks any strong aftertaste. The vanilla flavoring is also perfectly fine; in our opinion, it is enjoyable to consume. It froths as soy products always do, though we do not find this to be objectionable.

    Flavor: chocolate
If mixed with liquid, it becomes quite thick and difficult to drink. I add it to yogurt. I purchased the chocolate flavor; it is unique. I wanted to try something new, but I will return to the original. ;)

    Flavor: chocolate
I tried the chocolate assortment. Strengths: high protein content per 100g, acceptable taste. Weaknesses: - It thickens extremely, regardless of the liquid it is combined with. When mixing one scoop (30g) with 300ml of plant-based milk, I obtained a very thick shake. This occurs with soy isolate, as it acts as a thickening agent. - The texture is not ideal; it is slightly sandy. For me, it works ideally when combined with plenty of water (>300ml) and fruits (strawberries, blueberries, cherries), resulting in a pudding-like consistency; otherwise, it is quite unpleasant. Perhaps this type of protein works for others, but I use it only during the fasting period; otherwise, I use whey protein.

    Flavor: chocolate, vanilla
Despite the negative reviews, I ordered the protein due to its price-to-value ratio and excellent composition. I tried both chocolate and vanilla flavors; however, the consistency and sweetness of the proteins vary. First, I must state that neither is drinkable in my opinion. I have never tasted anything worse. HOWEVER, the vanilla flavor has amazing potential for making homemade protein bars, muffins, and cheesecakes. As a baking additive, it is excellent; the consistency of the bars is comparable to store-bought ones, and if seasoned well (with peanut butter and fruit), the result is truly superb. The chocolate flavor is very sweet, and the consistency is very poor; if I add it to a healthy cake or pancakes, nothing holds together with it. However, VANILLA is truly excellent, and I will order again to make protein bars :) I highly recommend it for baking!
