These are young green soybeans, known especially from Asian cuisine, where they are commonly served as an appetiser or snack. The Japanese name edamame refers to the immature beans hidden in the green soybean pod. In our product, however, they are already hulled, gently salted and roasted without any added fat. The result is a delicious crunchy snack, which serves great as an alternative to classic crisps. Compared to them, edamame has significantly less fat, and they'll also give you a rich dose of protein, of which there is only a minimal amount in chips.
