Beef&Egg contains a complex of amino acids derived from beef protein hydrolysate and egg hydrolysate. As a result, it boasts a total of 20 essential and non-essential amino acids, which have a variety of functions in the body.

 

In the formula you will find all the essential amino acids (EAAs), which our body cannot produce on its own. These include valine, leucine and isoleucine, which you probably know as branched-chain amino acids or BCAAs. These are well known among athletes, who use them most often after training. Of the non-essential amino acids, arginine, alanine or glycine are also included.

    After using these tablets, I cannot recommend the product. I may be an exception, as different products affect different people; however, after taking just two tablets, I experienced stomach discomfort, heartburn, abdominal pain, cramps, and possible liver pain. I cannot confirm this with certainty. This was my first and likely last attempt at taking amino acids in tablet form.

    As of now, on December 12, 2024, I have in front of me both the box with the recipe ordered two days ago and an older box from the last order three months ago. The differences in amino acid quantities are clear; this is why the new formula is cheaper, as they have reduced the amount of amino acid per 10 tablets (which constitutes one serving) by 10–25%. Examples before and after: Arginine: 0.93g / 0.72g Glycine: 2.47g / 1.90g Alanine: 1.12g / 0.86g The entire amino acid profile appears similarly.

    I have ordered this product approximately four times already, and once again, the content of active ingredients in the new packaging is lower than in the previous one. The first noticeable sign is the different color of the tablets; they are paler. Of course, the price remains the same. To make this less obvious, the ingredients are listed in a different order. In some cases, the reduction is up to 30%. For comparison, for example, Alanine 1.12g (old packaging) versus 0.86g (new packaging), and this applies to all components. GymBeam is beginning to implement the traditional policy of large corporations. As long as revenues grow, that is what matters. This is happening with numerous products, where active ingredients are gradually being reduced.
