Fue Carb is one of the representatives of premium carbohydrate blends for energy replenishment. It contains fast and slow carbohydrates, minerals and DigeZyme® digestive enzyme complex. The carbohydrate blend consists of fast premium Vitargo®, slower Palatinose™ (isomaltulose), fruit sugar in the form of fructose and dextrose. As a result, the resulting carbohydrate blend has a high to relatively low glycemic index ratio of approximately 2:1. The end product of Vitargo® metabolism is glucose and in the case of Palatinose™, it is glucose and fructose. Thus, the resulting ratio of glucose to fructose in the entire blend is 2:1 (approximately 60:30 per 100 g of product), providing a maximally effective carbohydrate formula.
Carbohydrates themselves contribute to the restoration of normal muscle function after high-intensity or prolonged physical exercise resulting in muscle fatigue and depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscle. However, the consumption of carbohydrates in the amount of 4 g/kg body weight in doses administered during the first four hours after such exercise and no later than six hours after the exercise is a prerequisite.
The composition is also supplemented with chloride, sodium, potassium, calcium or magnesium. Calcium, together with magnesium, contributes to proper muscle function and to maintaining healthy bones. In addition, they help with the proper metabolic conversion important for energy production. Dosage
