The best-known form of creatine, at the same time the cheapest and for me, subjectively, the best form, I did not have such good results with any creatine as with mono-hydrate. 5g per day, do you not solve the saturation phase, if you are an amateur athlete and drinking with glucose or juice? You don't! For better absorption, a minimum of 90g of carbohydrates (which is approx. 340 kcal) is recommended. It is better to fill these calories with food than to improve absorption by some small percentage. Anyway, try what suits you best :) Let it grow!
