Ghi is pure butter fat that is produced by slow butter release. It is made from milk from cows that graze on farms where they do not use any pesticides, industrial fertilizers or chemicals. During its preparation, water, proteins and sugars are evaporated from the butter. It results into pure fat which has yellow color, butter flavor and do not content any flavorings, colorings or aromas. Since it does not contain any milk proteins, it is suitable also for people with milk intolerance. Ghi is suitable for cooking or baking instead of classic butter. It has high ignition point, approximately 240°C, which means that it does not over burn during baking or cooking.

Was this review helpful to you?RecommendedDoubtful quality, I do not recommendThis quality is doubtful, does not melt at ghee;s temperature point, needs higher temperature. Also the content is split into a gummy stuff and an oil part which rises to the top when is jar. The oil does not solidify. I used ghee alot and I know for sure that it melts around 40 degree celsius, it has only one texture and not gummy and oily.
Store in a dry place and protect from heat.
