Elite Krill Oil is source of omega-3 fatty acids, phospholipids and astaxanthin in the form of softgel capsules from Antarctic krill. Antarctic krill (Euphausia superba) is small crustacean which inhabits the Antarctic ocean. The uniqueness of krill is its high content of omega-3 and astaxanthin. In one dose you receive up to 200 mg of omega-3, while 120 mg is eicosapentaenoic (EPA) and 80 mg docosahexaenoic (DHA) acid. Omega-3 fatty acids are polyunsaturated fatty acids and belong to the type of fats that are beneficial for the human health. Astaxanthin is carotenoid that can be found in krill, shrimp or salmon. Oil from krill is source of nutrients in practical form of softgel capsules in dark container.
