Ove biljke imaju <strong> hiljadugodi\u0161nju tradiciju u kineskoj i ajurvedskoj medicini,<\/strong> gde su se koristile, na primer, za le\u010denje infekcija, upala ili problema sa varenjem. U to vreme, me\u0111utim, niko nije znao da je upravo odre\u0111ena supstanca zaslu\u017ena za njihovo delovanje. Berberin tada jo\u0161 nije bio izolovan, pa su se koristili delovi cele biljke, naj\u010de\u0161\u0107e koren ili kora.    <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-orange-color\"><sup>[1\u20132]<\/sup><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Iz ugla savremene nauke, berberin je otkriven <strong>relativno nedavno.<\/strong> U svom hemijski \u010distom obliku prvi put je <strong>izolovan 1917. godine iz biljke kanadski zlatni koren (<em>Hydrastis canadensis<\/em>).<\/strong> Hemijski spada u <strong>alkaloide<\/strong>, organske jedinjenja koja sadr\u017ee azot i koja se \u010desto nalaze u biljkama. Ostali primeri su <a href=\"https:\/\/gymbeam.rs\/kofeini\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">kofein<\/a> i nikotin. <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-orange-color\"><sup><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">[3]<\/span><\/sup><\/mark>      <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Zanimljivo je da berberin ima <strong>intenzivnu \u017eutu boju.<\/strong> Zbog toga se u pro\u0161losti koristio kao prirodna boja za tkanine i ko\u017eu. Iako su ga danas u toj ulozi zamenile sinteti\u010dke supstance, i dalje se koristi u laboratorijama kao fluorescentna boja, na primer prilikom bojenja DNK pod UV svetlom. Ipak, berberin ve\u0107 godinama privla\u010di pa\u017enju nau\u010dnika zahvaljuju\u0107i svom dejstvu na klju\u010dne \u0107elijske mehanizme. On uti\u010de na takozvane <strong>visokonivojske regulatore energetske ravnote\u017ee<\/strong>, kao \u0161to su enzimi AMPK (adenozin-monofosfat aktivirana proteinska kinaza), PKC (proteinska kinaza C) i SIRT1 (sirtuin 1). Ove molekule igraju klju\u010dnu ulogu u regulaciji <strong>metabolizma, imunolo\u0161kih funkcija i upalnih procesa.<\/strong><sup><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-orange-color\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">[5]<\/span><\/mark><\/sup>      <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Zahvaljuju\u0107i ovom slo\u017eenom delovanju, berberin mo\u017ee imati korisne efekte ne samo kod osoba koje imaju problema u navedenim oblastima, ve\u0107 i kod zdravih ljudi, kao deo zdravog na\u010dina \u017eivota. Mo\u017ee pomo\u0107i kod sagorevanja masti i gubitka te\u017eine<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>O berberinu i mr\u0161avljenju se govori i na dru\u0161tvenim mre\u017eama i u stru\u010dnim krugovima. Neka nau\u010dna istra\u017eivanja to i potvr\u0111uju. Me\u0111utim, ove dve supstance deluju kroz razli\u010dite mehanizme.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Ozempic (semaglutid) <\/strong> je lek iz grupe agonista GLP-1 receptora, koji opona\u0161a dejstvo crevnog hormona i deluje direktno na centre za glad u mozgu. Ovaj efekat je va\u017ean za <strong>prevenciju kardiovaskularnih bolesti<\/strong> i podr\u0161ku celokupnom metaboli\u010dkom zdravlju. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Uticaji berberina na metabolizam masti prema studijama:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>mo\u017ee smanjiti proizvodnju holesterola u jetri zahvaljuju\u0107i uticaju na enzime jetre<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>mo\u017ee pove\u0107ati razgradnju LDL (lipoprotein niske gustine), poznatog kao \u201elo\u0161 holesterol\u201c, iz krvotoka<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>podr\u017eava razgradnju masti (triglicerida) i smanjuje njihovo skladi\u0161tenje u jetri<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Pozitivan uticaj berberina na nivo lipida u krvi potvr\u0111uje i meta-analiza 11 randomizovanih klini\u010dkih studija. Rezultati su pokazali da suplementacija berberinom dovodi do zna\u010dajnog smanjenja: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>ukupnog holesterola,<\/strong> u proseku je smanjen za 0,61 mmol\/l<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>triglicerida<\/strong> za 0,50 mmol\/l<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>LDL holesterola<\/strong> za 0,65 mmol\/l<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Istovremeno je zabele\u017eeno blago, ali statisti\u010dki zna\u010dajno <strong>pove\u0107anje HDL (lipoproteina visoke gustine) holesterola<\/strong>, poznatog i kao \u201edobar holesterol\u201c, za 0,05 mmol\/l. Me\u0111utim, ako traje predugo, mo\u017ee doprineti razvoju hroni\u010dnih bolesti poput dijabetesa tipa 2, kardiovaskularnih oboljenja ili gojaznosti. Tu berberin mo\u017ee igrati interesantnu ulogu, jer nau\u010dna saznanja ukazuju na to da <strong>mo\u017ee uticati na upalne procese u telu na vi\u0161e na\u010dina.<\/strong>      <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Antiinflamatorni efekti berberina prema studijama:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Prema studijama, smanjuje nivo upalnih markera u krvi<\/strong>, kao \u0161to je C-reaktivni protein (CRP), koji je jedan od glavnih pokazatelja upale u organizmu.<mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-orange-color\"><sup> <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">[14]<\/span><\/sup><\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mo\u017ee smanjiti proizvodnju upalnih citokina<\/strong> (IL-1\u03b2, IL-6, TNF-\u03b1) i regulisati signalne puteve povezane sa upalom (NF-\u03baB, MAPK, STAT1).
