Pogosto se omenja v povezavi s huj\u0161anjem, uravnavanjem krvnega sladkorja in <strong>celo<\/strong> <strong>z vzdevkom \u00bbnaravni Ozempic\u00ab.<\/strong> A kaj v resnici vemo o njem? Ali so njegovi u\u010dinki podprti z znanstvenimi \u0161tudijami ali gre le za \u0161e en modni trend? Te rastline imajo<strong> tiso\u010dletno tradicijo v kitajski in ajurvedski medicini,<\/strong> kjer so jih uporabljali, na primer, za zdravljenje oku\u017eb, vnetij ali prebavnih te\u017eav. Takrat sicer \u0161e niso vedeli, da je za u\u010dinke teh rastlin odgovorna prav dolo\u010dena snov. Berberina \u0161e niso izolirali, zato so uporabljali cele dele rastlin, najpogosteje korenino ali lubje. <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-orange-color\"><sup>[1\u20132]<\/sup><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Z vidika sodobne znanosti smo berberin odkrili<strong> razmeroma nedavno. <\/strong>V svoji kemi\u010dno \u010disti obliki je bil prvi\u010d izoliran <strong>leta 1917 iz kanadskega zlatega korena (<em>Hydrastis canadensis<\/em>).<\/strong> Kemi\u010dno spada med <strong>alkaloide,<\/strong> to so organske spojine, ki vsebujejo du\u0161ik in jih pogosto najdemo v rastlinah. Drugi znani primeri so <a href=\"https:\/\/gymbeam.si\/kofein\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">kofein<\/a> ali nikotin. <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-orange-color\"><sup>[3]<\/sup><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Zanimivo je, da ima berberin <strong>izrazito rumeno barvo.<\/strong> Zaradi tega so ga v preteklosti uporabljali kot naravno barvilo za tekstil in usnje. \u010ceprav so ga danes v tej vlogi nadomestile sinteti\u010dne snovi, se \u0161e vedno uporablja v laboratorijih kot fluorescentno barvilo, na primer pri barvanju DNK pod UV-svetlobo. Vendar pa berberin \u017ee vrsto let zanima znanstvenike zaradi svojega delovanja na klju\u010dne celi\u010dne mehanizme. Vpliva na tako imenovane <strong>vi\u0161jestopenjske regulatorje energijskega ravnovesja,<\/strong> kot so encim AMPK (adenozin-monofosfat-aktivirana proteinska kinaza), PKC (proteinska kinaza C) in SIRT1 (sirtuin 1). Te molekule imajo klju\u010dno vlogo pri uravnavanju <strong>presnove, imunskih funkcij in vnetnih procesov.<\/strong> <sup><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-orange-color\">[5]<\/mark><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Zaradi tega kompleksnega delovanja ima lahko berberin zanimive u\u010dinke ne le pri ljudeh s te\u017eavami na teh podro\u010djih, temve\u010d tudi pri zdravih posameznikih kot del zdravega \u017eivljenjskega sloga. To potrjujejo tudi nekatere znanstvene \u0161tudije. Po njihovih podatkih lahko prispeva k <strong>zmanj\u0161anju<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/gymbeam.si\/blog\/koliksen-odstotek-telesne-mascobe-morate-imeti-da-lahko-vidite-trebusne-misice\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>telesne ma\u0161\u010dobe<\/strong><\/a><strong>, <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/gymbeam.si\/blog\/kaj-je-itm-kalkulator-in-ali-je-sploh-zanesljiv\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>indeksa telesne mase <\/strong><\/a><strong>(ITM) in obsega pasu,<\/strong> tudi brez ve\u010djih sprememb v prehrani. Pregled iz leta 2020 na primer ni zaznal sprememb v telesni te\u017ei ali ITM, temve\u010d le izbolj\u0161anje razmerja med pasom in boki. Predvsem na dru\u017ebenih omre\u017ejih je berberin dobil vzdevek \u00bbnaravni Ozempic\u00ab. Vendar ti dve snovi delujeta po razli\u010dnih mehanizmih.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Ozempic (semaglutid)<\/strong> je zdravilo iz skupine agonistov receptorjev GLP-1, ki posnema u\u010dinke \u010drevesnega hormona in deluje neposredno na centre za lakoto v mo\u017eganih.
