Pr\u00e1ve tieto rastliny maj\u00fa <strong>tis\u00edcro\u010dn\u00fa trad\u00edciu v tradi\u010dnej \u010d\u00ednskej a \u00e1jurv\u00e9dskej medic\u00edne<\/strong>, kde sa pou\u017e\u00edvali napr\u00edklad pri lie\u010dbe infekci\u00ed, z\u00e1palov alebo tr\u00e1viacich \u0165a\u017ekost\u00ed. V tom \u010dase v\u0161ak nikto netu\u0161il, \u017ee za ich \u00fa\u010dinkami stoj\u00ed konkr\u00e9tna l\u00e1tka. V chemicky \u010distej forme bol prv\u00fdkr\u00e1t izolovan\u00fd <strong>v roku 1917 zo zlatobyle kanadskej (<em>Hydrastis canadensis<\/em>)<\/strong>. Chemicky patr\u00ed medzi <strong>alkaloidy<\/strong>, teda organick\u00e9 zl\u00fa\u010deniny s obsahom dus\u00edka, ktor\u00e9 sa be\u017ene vyskytuj\u00fa v rastlin\u00e1ch. Medzi \u010fal\u0161\u00edmi z\u00e1stupcami n\u00e1jdeme aj <a href=\"https:\/\/gymbeam.sk\/kofein\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">kofe\u00edn<\/a> alebo nikot\u00edn. <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-orange-color\"><sup>[3]<\/sup><\/mark>   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Zauj\u00edmavos\u0165ou je, \u017ee berber\u00edn m\u00e1 <strong>v\u00fdrazne \u017elt\u00fa farbu.<\/strong> V\u010faka tomu sa v minulosti pou\u017e\u00edval ako pr\u00edrodn\u00e9 farbivo na textil a ko\u017eu. Hoci ho dnes v tejto \u00falohe nahradili syntetick\u00e9 l\u00e1tky, st\u00e1le sa vyu\u017e\u00edva v laborat\u00f3ri\u00e1ch ako fluorescen\u010dn\u00e9 farbivo, napr\u00edklad pri farben\u00ed DNA pod UV svetlom.
