To dolgujemo predvsem medicinskemu napredku, ki nam je omogo\u010dil premagati \u0161tevilne nalezljive bolezni. Napredek na podro\u010dju diagnostike in zdravljenja nam je omogo\u010dil dosegati vse vi\u0161jo starost, kar danes pogosto jemljemo za samoumevno. Poleg sodobne medicine k dolgo\u017eivosti prispeva tudi znanje o tem, kako <strong>zdrav \u017eivljenjski slog<\/strong> pomaga upo\u010dasniti staranje in <strong>izbolj\u0161ati kakovost \u017eivljenja.<\/strong> Pogosto omenjen pojem v splo\u0161ni znanosti so <strong>telomeri,<\/strong> ki se zdijo koristen kazalnik <strong>dolgo\u017eivosti.<\/strong> Zakaj je temu tako in ali so res najbolj\u0161i kazalnik? Odgovore boste na\u0161li v tem \u010dlanku.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-h2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Kaj_so_telomeri_in_kako_delujejo\"><\/span>Kaj so telomeri in kako delujejo?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Telomeri so <strong>kon\u010dni deli DNK.<\/strong> Za razliko od bakterij je \u010dlove\u0161ka DNK linearna &#8211; ima za\u010detek in konec. Organizirana je v 23 parov kromosomov, vsak od njih pa ima na koncu telomere, ki si jih lahko predstavljamo kot <strong>za\u0161\u010ditne kapice.<\/strong> Vsaka vrsta ima posebna telomerna zaporedja DNK, ki se ve\u010dkrat ponovijo. To ponavljanje omogo\u010da nastanek posebne strukture, ki <strong>\u0161\u010diti na\u0161e kromosome pred kraj\u0161anjem.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Telomeri se pri vsaki delitvi celice <strong>skraj\u0161ajo.<\/strong> Ta proces poteka neprekinjeno, saj mora na\u0161e telo nenehno reciklirati stare celice in se <strong>obnavljati<\/strong> z ustvarjanjem novih, mladih celic. Ob vsaki delitvi celice pride do replikacije (kopiranja) DNK. Vendar je kopiranje dvoveri\u017ene DNK za celice izziv. To pomeni, da je \u0161tevilo delitev celic omejeno z dol\u017eino telomerov. Ko telomere postanejo prekratke, se celica ne more ve\u010d deliti &#8211; <strong>stara se in na koncu umre.<\/strong> <strong>Zato je dol\u017eina telomerov lahko uporaben pokazatelj staranja celic.<\/strong> Edine celice, pri katerih se telomeri ne kraj\u0161ajo, so mati\u010dne in rakave celice. Te imajo aktiven encim (telomerazo), ki lahko <strong>podalj\u0161uje<\/strong> telomere, kar jim omogo\u010da, da se delijo v <strong>nedogled,<\/strong> \u010de ne vplivajo drugi dejavniki, kot so mehanske ali druge vrste po\u0161kodb. <sup><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-orange-color\">[1]<\/mark><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Vendar pa podatki niso vedno enostavni. Dol\u017eina telomerov ni odvisna le od starosti, pri kateri se merijo, ampak tudi od <strong>vrste celic, genetike in na\u010dina \u017eivljenja. Pospe\u0161eno skraj\u0161evanje telomer <\/strong>je povezano s precej ve\u010djim tveganjem za bolezni, kot so bolezni srca in o\u017eilja, sladkorna bolezen, nekatere vrste raka in osteoporoza. Temu procesu se ni mogo\u010de popolnoma izogniti. Vendar lahko nekateri <strong>dejavniki<\/strong> pozitivno ali negativno vplivajo na njihovo dol\u017eino. Ne glede na to, ali so se \u0161tudije osredoto\u010dale na vadbo za mo\u010d ali aerobne dejavnosti (kot je <a href=\"https:\/\/gymbeam.si\/blog\/kako-zaceti-teci-preprost-vodic-za-popolne-zacetnike\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">tek)<\/a>, fizi\u010dno aktivni posamezniki dosledno ka\u017eejo bistveno bolj\u0161e stanje telomerne DNK, kar ustreza <strong>manj\u0161emu tveganju<\/strong> za kroni\u010dne bolezni in prezgodnje staranje. <sup><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-orange-color\">[3 \u2013 4]<\/mark><\/sup> \u010ceprav \u010dasa in staranja ne moremo ustaviti, <strong>ga lahko vsekakor upo\u010dasnimo.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-h2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Kateri_drugi_dejavniki_vplivajo_na_dolgozivost\"><\/span>Kateri drugi dejavniki vplivajo na dolgo\u017eivost?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dol\u017eina telomerov<\/strong> sicer ka\u017ee na staranje celic, vendar ni edini dejavnik dolgo\u017eivosti. Lahko ka\u017ee na pospe\u0161eno staranje, lahko pa odra\u017ea tudi <strong>posledice nezdravega \u017eivljenjskega sloga.<\/strong> Dolgost \u017eivljenja je ve\u010dfaktorska, kar pomeni, da nanjo vplivajo \u0161tevilne spremenljivke. Eden najmo\u010dnej\u0161ih dejavnikov, ki vplivajo na dolgo\u017eivost, je <strong>\u017eivljenjski slog,<\/strong> ki ne vpliva le na dol\u017eino telomerov, temve\u010d tudi na dolgoro\u010dno delovanje celotnega telesa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Poleg na\u010dina \u017eivljenja ima pri zdravju in dolgo\u017eivosti pomembno vlogo tudi <strong>genetika.<\/strong> Ne glede na to, ali gre za nagnjenost k dolo\u010denim boleznim ali za prirojeno sposobnost dalj\u0161ega \u017eivljenja, genetskih dejavnikov ne smemo zanemariti. Vendar pa lahko nanje vplivamo s prilagoditvijo <strong>\u017eivljenjskega sloga,<\/strong> kar je znano kot <strong>epigenetika.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Tveganje za kroni\u010dne bolezni in slab\u0161o kakovost \u017eivljenja je povezano tudi z <a href=\"https:\/\/gymbeam.si\/blog\/mikrobiom-kaj-je-in-kako-lahko-zdravje-crevesja-vpliva-na-vaso-fizicno-in-dusevno-pripravljenost\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">zdravjem \u010drevesnega mikrobioma<\/a>. \u010crevesni mikrobiom pomembno vpliva na delovanje imunskega sistema in celo na delovanje mo\u017eganov. Zdrav \u010drevesni mikrobiom je povezan z manj\u0161o pojavnostjo kroni\u010dnih bolezni, <strong>od sladkorne bolezni do depresije.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/gymbeam.si\/blog\/anti-ageing-in-zdravo-staranje-kako-poskrbeti-za-svoje-telo-ter-ohraniti-zdravje-in-mladosten-videz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dolgo in kakovostno \u017eivljenje<\/a> ni odvisno le od telesnega zdravja, temve\u010d tudi od dobrega du\u0161evnega po\u010dutja in mo\u010dnih dru\u017ebenih odnosov. Ugotovljeno je tudi, da je <strong>dovolj <a href=\"https:\/\/gymbeam.si\/blog\/kako-hitro-zaspati-preizkusite-te-preproste-nasvete-za-boljsi-spanec\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">kakovostnega spanca<\/a><\/strong> nenadomestljivega pomena in vpliva na vsakodnevno delovanje in prehranjevalne navade. <a href=\"https:\/\/gymbeam.si\/blog\/kaj-je-zdrava-prehrana-in-kako-se-nauciti-jesti-zdravo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Raznolika prehrana<\/a> za dolgo\u017eivost, ki vsebuje vsa bistvena makrohranila, je <strong>bogata z <a href=\"https:\/\/gymbeam.si\/blog\/beljakovine-njihove-funkcije-v-telesu-priporocen-vnos-prehranski-viri-in-simptomi-pomanjkanja\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">beljakovinami<\/a> in <a href=\"https:\/\/gymbeam.si\/blog\/psyllium-koristne-vlaknine-ne-samo-za-pravilno-prebavo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">vlakninami<\/a><\/strong> ter vsebuje malo predelanih \u017eivil, telesu zagotavlja pravo gorivo in gradbeni material. Zdrav \u017eivljenjski slog, ki vklju\u010duje <a href=\"https:\/\/gymbeam.si\/blog\/vadba-in-trening\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">gibanje<\/a>, spanje in hranljivo prehrano, pa bi bil nepopoln brez <strong>dobrega du\u0161evnega po\u010dutja in pomenljivih odnosov.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Ni nam treba \u201ena novo izumljati kolesa\u201c ali iskati modnih tehnik <a href=\"https:\/\/gymbeam.si\/blog\/biohacking-7-nasvetov-ki-vam-bodo-izboljsali-zivljenje\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">biohackinga<\/a>.
