Kamo god pogledate u povijesti, na\u0107i \u0107ete zapise o vinu, pivu ili drugim fermentiranim pi\u0107ima, koja su u ve\u0107im koli\u010dinama mijenjala svijest. \u010cak se vjerovalo da alkohol ima ljekovita svojstva, unato\u010d \u010dinjenici da je prekomjerno pijenje \u010desto dovodilo do <a href=\"https:\/\/gymbeam.hr\/blog\/mamurluci-zasto-se-pojavljuju-i-kako-ih-se-brzo-rijesiti\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">mamurluka<\/a>, glavobolje i dehidracije. Nije se konzumirao samo uz obroke \u2013 budu\u0107i da je voda \u010desto bila kontaminirana \u2013 nego i kao klju\u010dni dio slavlja. <strong>Alkohol je i danas sredi\u0161nje obilje\u017eje dru\u0161tvenih doga\u0111anja. <\/strong>Postao je toliko uobi\u010dajen da se oni koji apstiniraju \u010desto smatraju \u010dudnima. Ipak, ostaje istina da je alkohol, prema mnogim mjerama, jedna od naj\u0161tetnijih <strong>tvari<\/strong>. <strong>\u0160teti fizi\u010dkom i mentalnom zdravlju<\/strong> osobe koja pije, ali tako\u0111er utje\u010de na one oko njega.<\/p>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Alkohol_je_droga\"><\/span>Alkohol je droga<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Unato\u010d tome \u0161to je \u0161iroko dostupan u trgovinama, alkohol se jo\u0161 uvijek klasificira kao droga. Klju\u010dni sastojak odgovoran za njegove u\u010dinke jest <strong>etanol<\/strong>. Problem je s etanolom u tome kako djeluje. Ve\u0107ina drugih droga ili opona\u0161a tvari koje se nalaze u mozgu (poput opijata) ili djeluje na specifi\u010dne receptore u mozgu (poput THC-a). Etanol je, me\u0111utim, mala molekula koja mo\u017ee <strong>pro\u0107i kroz stani\u010dne membrane, utje\u010du\u0107i na funkcioniranje stanica iznutra.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>To\u010dan mehanizam djelovanja etanola nije sasvim jasan. Zbog svoje male veli\u010dine, etanol se difuzijom \u0161iri po tijelu, lako dospijevaju\u0107i u razli\u010dite dijelove tijela. Neko\u0107 se vjerovalo da su njegovi u\u010dinci na sredi\u0161nji \u017eiv\u010dani sustav (CNS) nespecifi\u010dni. Danas znamo za <strong>vi\u0161e od 20 mogu\u0107ih mjesta djelovanja u mozgu<\/strong>, uklju\u010duju\u0107i njegove u\u010dinke na GABA-receptore, serotoninski i dopaminski sustav, pa \u010dak i opioidne receptore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Vi\u0161e od 90 % konzumiranog etanola se metabolizira, dok se ostatak izlu\u010duje urinom, znojem i dahom. Nakon pijenja, etanol ulazi u krvotok iz probavnog trakta i prenosi se u jetru. <strong>\u010cak i jedno pi\u0107e<\/strong> (0,04 litre \u017eestokih pi\u0107a, pivo ili \u010da\u0161a vina) mo\u017ee <strong> opteretiti jetru<\/strong> i njenu sposobnost da metabolizira etanol. Kao rezultat toga, etanol ostaje u tijelu dulje vrijeme, <strong>utje\u010du\u0107i na mozak<\/strong>, ali i na sve druge organe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>U jetri se etanol razgra\u0111uje pomo\u0107u enzima alkohol-dehidrogenaze u acetaldehid. Acetaldehid je toksi\u010dan i kancerogen, pa ga drugi enzim, acetaldehid dehidrogenaza, brzo pretvara u acetat (ionski oblik octene kiseline), koji je samo blago toksi\u010dan i mo\u017ee se upotrijebiti kao alternativni izvor energije. Me\u0111utim, uobi\u010dajena je mjera \u2030 (<strong>promil<\/strong>). Budu\u0107i da ne zahtijeva probavu, putuje izravno iz probavnog sustava u krv. Kao \u0161to je ranije spomenuto, iako se njegovi u\u010dinci na mozak uvelike prou\u010davaju, ne postoji nijedan mehanizam koji u potpunosti obja\u0161njava kako djeluje. Jedan od najpoznatijih mehanizama njegov je utjecaj na receptore GABA<sub>A<\/sub>, sli\u010dno djelovanju nekih anestetika. <strong>Usporava S\u017dS i djeluje kao sedativ, zbog \u010dega se osje\u0107amo opu\u0161tenije i samopouzdanije nakon pijenja<\/strong>.<mark class=\"has-inline-color has-orange-color\"><sup><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">[4]<\/span><\/sup><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Osim receptora GABA<sub>A<\/sub>, koji su povezani s ionskim kanalima, etanol tako\u0111er utje\u010de na druge ionske kanale. U nekim slu\u010dajevima ima suzbijaju\u0107i u\u010dinak, dok u drugima pobu\u0111uje prijenos signala u mozgu, pridonose\u0107i ukupnoj neravnote\u017ei i disfunkciji S\u017dS-a.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Kao i svaka droga, etanol o\u0161te\u0107uje mozak. Me\u0111u zakonitim i nezakonitim supstancama, etanol je jedna od naj\u0161tetnijih u smislu propadanja <strong>mo\u017edanih stanica. Tako\u0111er usporava neurogenezu i neuroplasti\u010dnost<\/strong> \u2013 stvaranje novih veza izme\u0111u mo\u017edanih stanica.<mark class=\"has-inline-color has-orange-color\"><sup><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">[5]<\/span><\/sup><\/mark> Osim toga, etanol mo\u017ee potaknuti programiranu smrt stanica (apoptozu).<mark class=\"has-inline-color has-orange-color\"><sup><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">[6]<\/span><\/sup><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Istra\u017eivanje iz 2022. godine koje je uklju\u010dilo vi\u0161e od 39 000 sudionika pokazalo je da \u010dak i ekvivalent jednog malog piva dnevno dovodi do zna\u010dajnog smanjenja mozga i njegova ubrzanog starenja. Naravno, taj se u\u010dinak pogor\u0161avao s pove\u0107anjem broja pi\u0107a dnevno. Na temelju tog i drugih istra\u017eivanja, jasno je dokazano da ne postoji sigurna koli\u010dina alkohola.<mark class=\"has-inline-color has-orange-color\"><sup><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">[7]<\/span><\/sup><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kroni\u010dni u\u010dinci konzumiranja alkohola ozbiljno o\u0161te\u0107uju funkciju mozga, pridonose gubitku mo\u017edane mase i, u te\u0161kim slu\u010dajevima alkoholizma, mogu dovesti do demencije izazvane alkoholom.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1124\" height=\"749\" src=\"https:\/\/gymbeam.sk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/foto-clanek-7.png\" alt=\"U\u010dinci alkohola\" class=\"wp-image-636043\" title=\"U\u010dinci alkohola\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gymbeam.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/foto-clanek-7.png 1124w, https:\/\/gymbeam.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/foto-clanek-7-400x267.png 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1124px) 100vw, 1124px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Kako_alkohol_utjece_na_druge_dijelove_organizma_osim_mozga\"><\/span>Kako alkohol utje\u010de na druge dijelove organizma osim mozga?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Osim \u0161tetnih u\u010dinaka na mozak, <strong>konzumacija alkohola zna\u010dajan je \u010dimbenik rizika za brojne bolesti.<\/strong> Odre\u0111ivanje njegovih to\u010dnih mehanizama izazovno je jer se alkohol \u0161iri cijelim tijelom bez velikih ograni\u010denja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kardiovaskularni sustav<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u010cak i minimalan unos alkohola pove\u0107ava rizik od kardiovaskularnih bolesti. Istra\u017eivanja koja su neko\u0107 upu\u0107ivala na za\u0161titni u\u010dinak umjerene konzumacije alkohola na zdravlje srca pokazala su se pogre\u0161nima. Najnoviji podaci pokazuju da <strong>alkohol pove\u0107ava rizik od kardiovaskularnih problema, bez obzira na koli\u010dinu koju konzumirate<\/strong>.<mark class=\"has-inline-color has-orange-color\"><sup><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">[8]<\/span><\/sup><\/mark> Jedan od glavnih razloga za taj pove\u0107ani rizik utjecaj je alkohola na<strong> krvni tlak<\/strong>. Redovita konzumacija alkohola dovodi do stalno povi\u0161enog krvnog tlaka, \u0161to pove\u0107ava vjerojatnost <strong>zatajenja srca. Rizik od mo\u017edanog udara<\/strong> tako\u0111er je pove\u0107an.<mark class=\"has-inline-color has-orange-color\"><sup><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">[9]<\/span><\/sup><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Dugotrajna konzumacija alkohola tako\u0111er dovodi do <strong>toksi\u010dnosti izazvane alkoholom<\/strong>, koja uzrokuje <strong>kardiomiopatiju<\/strong> (skupina bolesti sr\u010danog mi\u0161i\u0107a). To rezultira nepovratnim o\u0161te\u0107enjem srca i njegovih funkcija, \u0161to dovodi do zatajenja srca i aritmija. Ako netko s tim stanjem nastavi piti, njegov rizik od smrti u sljede\u0107ih 10 godina raste na 80 %.<mark class=\"has-inline-color has-orange-color\"><sup><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">[10]<\/span><\/sup><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Probavni sustav<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Probavni sustav tako\u0111er pati zbog konzumiranja alkohola, a <strong>o\u0161te\u0107enje jetre<\/strong> najpoznatiji je problem. Jetra naporno radi na metaboliziranju alkohola u manje \u0161tetne tvari, ali ima ograni\u010den kapacitet, koji se mo\u017ee brzo preopteretiti. \u010cesto preoptere\u0107enje jetre dovodi do o\u0161te\u0107enja i na kraju ciroze.
