To je <strong>mekani, srebrnasti metal<\/strong> koji je visoko reaktivan i s vodom i sa zrakom. Ako biste ispustili komad \u010distog kalija u vodu, to bi rezultiralo trenutnom i eksplozivnom reakcijom. Ima klju\u010dnu ulogu u prijenosu \u017eiv\u010danih impulsa i, <strong>kao elektrolit, uklju\u010den je u regulaciju ravnote\u017ee teku\u0107ine unutar i izvan stanica.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Kalij je <strong>esencijalni nutrijent<\/strong> koji na\u0161e tijelo ne mo\u017ee proizvesti samostalno. Djeluje kao elektrolit, reguliraju\u0107i elektri\u010dni naboj kroz stani\u010dne membrane. Poma\u017ee u odr\u017eavanju normalnog krvnog tlaka<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I natrij i kalij utje\u010du na regulaciju krvnog tlaka. Natrij zadr\u017eava vodu u tijelu, \u0161to u kona\u010dnici pove\u0107ava krvni tlak. Doprinosi pravilnom funkcioniranju mi\u0161i\u0107a<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Ovaj mineral tako\u0111er<strong> igra ulogu u mi\u0161i\u0107noj kontrakciji<\/strong> (zatezanju i opu\u0161tanju mi\u0161i\u0107a), koja se javlja kao odgovor na \u017eiv\u010dane impulse. Zbog modernih prehrambenih navika, kod kojih \u010desto nedostaju svje\u017ee namirnice, a bogate su ultraprera\u0111enim namirnicama,<strong> postoji rizik od nedostatka kalija.<\/strong> Ovaj nedostatak mo\u017ee negativno utjecati na zdravlje i fizi\u010dku izvedbu. Tijela nadle\u017ena za zdravstvo poput WHO-a i Europskog kardiolo\u0161kog dru\u0161tva, \u010desto isti\u010du va\u017enost dovoljnog unosa kalija. Zbog toga postoji DASH dijeta koja je bogata svje\u017eim povr\u0107em, vo\u0107em, mahunarkama, cjelovitim \u017eitaricama i drugim namirnicama bogatim kalijem. Preporu\u010duje se za prevenciju visokog krvnog tlaka i drugih kardiovaskularnih bolesti. <sup>[6\u20137]<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Na koja podru\u010dja na\u0161eg svakodnevnog \u017eivota to najvi\u0161e utje\u010de?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"srce\">1. Podr\u017eava rad srca<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Kalij utje\u010de na rad srca na vi\u0161e razina. Prvo, kao jedan od glavnih elektrolita, igra klju\u010dnu ulogu u prijenosu elektri\u010dnih signala izme\u0111u stanica srca. Kao \u0161to je ranije spomenuto,<strong> poma\u017ee u izlu\u010divanju vi\u0161ka natrija, \u010dime se regulira volumen cirkuliraju\u0107e krvi.<\/strong> Ovo djelovanje smanjuje rizik od razvoja visokog krvnog tlaka (hipertenzije) koji zna\u010dajno optere\u0107uje srce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Pozitivan u\u010dinak kalija na rad srca i krvni tlak podupiru brojne studije. Naprimjer, pokazuju da<strong> pove\u0107ani unos kalija dovodi do sni\u017eenja krvnog tlaka me\u0111u osobama s hipertenzijom.<\/strong> Osim toga, ovo smanjenje tako\u0111er smanjuje rizik od mo\u017edanog udara za \u010dak 24 %. Nalazi pokazuju da pove\u0107anje unosa kalija ima blagotvoran u\u010dinak na <strong>zdravlje srca i krvo\u017eilnog sustava.<\/strong> No, to se odnosi samo na osobe sa zdravim bubrezima koji mogu adekvatno izlu\u010diti vi\u0161ak kalija i sprije\u010diti njegovo nakupljanje u tijelu. <mark class=\"has-inline-color has-orange-color\"><sup> [8, 11]&nbsp;<\/sup><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Koje promjene u prehrani mogu pomo\u0107i u sni\u017eavanju krvnog tlaka?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Za one koji \u017eele prilagoditi svoju prehranu kako bi sprije\u010dili hipertenziju, preporu\u010duje se DASH dijeta (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension, tj. pristupi prehrani za zaustavljanje hipertenzije). Ova dijeta temelji se na uravnote\u017eenom i raznolikom unosu namirnica bogatih hranjivim tvarima koje poma\u017eu u regulaciji krvnog tlaka, posebice<strong> kalija, &nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/gymbeam.hr\/kalcij-gymbeam.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"ek-link\">kalcija<\/a>, i&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/gymbeam.hr\/chelated-magnesium-gymbeam.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"ek-link\">magnezija<\/a>. <\/strong>Temeljno na\u010delo je smanjiti unos natrija (soli) uz pove\u0107anje konzumacije zdrave hrane kao \u0161to su cjelovite <a href=\"https:\/\/gymbeam.hr\/zitarice\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"ek-link\">\u017eitarice<\/a>, mahunarke, vo\u0107e, povr\u0107e, nemasno meso i nemasni mlije\u010dni proizvodi. To je uglavnom zbog sposobnosti kalija, posebno u obliku kalijevog citrata, da se ve\u017ee s kalcijem, sprje\u010davaju\u0107i nakupljanje i stvaranje kalcijevih kamenaca. Podr\u017eava zdravlje kostiju<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Adekvatan unos kalija tako\u0111er je va\u017ean za <strong>zdravlje kostiju<\/strong>. Studije pokazuju da je to zbog njegovog utjecaja na odr\u017eavanje acidobazne ravnote\u017ee (pH) i smanjenje ispiranja kalcija iz kostiju.
