Mo\u017eno ste si ho v\u0161ak u\u017e sami niekedy po\u010d\u00edtali a zistili ste, \u017ee v\u00fdsledok stopercentne nezodpoved\u00e1 skuto\u010dnosti. Napr\u00edklad u tak\u00fdch kulturistov \u010dastokr\u00e1t ukazuje nadv\u00e1hu alebo dokonca obezitu.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\u010co si o \u0148om teda myslie\u0165? Mali by sme veri\u0165 hodnote BMI a pou\u017e\u00edva\u0165 ju, ke\u010f si chceme kontrolova\u0165 hmotnos\u0165 a zdravie?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Co_je_BMI\"><\/span>\u010co je BMI?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Body Mass Index, <\/strong>ktor\u00fd pozn\u00e1te naj\u010dastej\u0161ie pod skratkou<strong> BMI,<\/strong> je jednoduch\u00fd n\u00e1stroj na <strong>hodnotenie telesnej hmotnosti. <\/strong>\u010c\u00edslo, ktor\u00e9 dostanete z v\u00fdpo\u010dtu<strong> <\/strong>BMI, v\u00e1m d\u00e1 z\u00e1kladn\u00fd obraz o tom, ako je va\u0161a<strong> v\u00e1ha v s\u00falade s v\u00fd\u0161kou.<\/strong> Ide o jednoduch\u00fd a r\u00fdchly v\u00fdpo\u010det, v\u010faka \u010domu je zrejme aj tak popul\u00e1rny a \u010dasto pou\u017e\u00edvan\u00fd. V roku<strong> 1830 <\/strong>ho vymyslel belgick\u00fd \u0161tatistik a matematik <strong>Adolphe Quetelet. <\/strong>Vedci toti\u017e potrebovali met\u00f3du, ktor\u00e1 by dok\u00e1zala r\u00fdchlo a efekt\u00edvne poskytn\u00fa\u0165 predstavu o tom, ak\u00fa hmotnos\u0165 maj\u00fa \u013eudia v popul\u00e1cii, a tak z\u00edska\u0165 obraz aj o ich zdravotn\u00fdch rizik\u00e1ch. BMI dok\u00e1\u017ee jednak zmapova\u0165 v\u00fdskyt obezity, ale z\u00e1rove\u0148 aj podv\u00e1hy, \u010do je obzvl\u00e1\u0161\u0165 d\u00f4le\u017eit\u00e9 v rozvojov\u00fdch krajin\u00e1ch. <sup><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-orange-color\">[4,8]<\/mark><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Dnes vieme na z\u00e1klade BMI napr\u00edklad poveda\u0165, \u017ee v roku 2019 malo zhruba <strong>59 % dospel\u00fdch obyvate\u013eov <\/strong>kraj\u00edn Eur\u00f3pskej \u00fanie <strong>nadv\u00e1hu <\/strong>alebo<strong> obezitu.<\/strong> Podiel bol pritom vy\u0161\u0161\u00ed u mu\u017eov (63 %), ako u \u017eien (54 %). Pr\u00e1ve tam sa v\u0161ak z\u00e1rove\u0148 ukazuj\u00fa jeho <strong>najv\u00e4\u010d\u0161ie nedostatky. <\/strong>Podstatne toti\u017e <strong>zanedb\u00e1va individu\u00e1lne rozdiely medzi \u013eu\u010fmi, <\/strong>ako je napr\u00edklad rozlo\u017eenie tuku v tele, vek alebo pohlavie.
