V telesu nastaja kot vmesni produkt iz aminokisline <a aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/gymbeam.si\/l-ornitin-hcl-gymbeam.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"ek-link\">ornitin<\/a> in karbamoilfosfata v ciklu se\u010dnine. Hkrati ga naravno zau\u017eijete z nekaterimi \u017eivili ali prehranskimi dopolnili. Za razliko od drugih aminokislin, ki jih poznate iz podro\u010dja \u0161portne prehrane, <strong>se citrulin v telesu ne uporablja kot gradnik za rast ali obnovo mi\u0161ic in drugih tkiv. <\/strong>Ima povsem druga\u010dno funkcijo, ki je za \u0161portnike prav tako pomembna.<mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-orange-color\"><sup>[3]<\/sup><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Zanimivo dejstvo o citrulinu je, da je njegovo ime nastalo iz latinske besede <em>citrullus vulgaris<\/em>, kar v prevodu pomeni lubenica. Prvi je \u017ee omenjeni <strong>cikel se\u010dnine.<\/strong> Ta poteka predvsem v jetrih in je <strong>pomemben za odstranjevanje strupenega amoniaka iz telesa<\/strong> in njegovo pretvorbo v manj strupeno se\u010dnino, ki se nato izlo\u010di z urinom. Poleg citrulina sta v ta proces razstrupljanja vklju\u010dena tudi <a aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/gymbeam.si\/l-ornitin-hcl-gymbeam.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"ek-link\">ornitin<\/a> in arginin. Tako je citrulin vklju\u010den v procese, povezane z naravnim <a aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/gymbeam.si\/blog\/razstrupljanje-in-ciscenje-telesa-kaj-to-je-in-kako-naravno-razstrupiti-telo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"ek-link\">razstrupljanjem telesa<\/a>.<mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-orange-color\"><sup>[1, 3]<\/sup><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Drugi proces, ki bo bolj zanimiv za \u0161portnike, je <strong>proizvodnja du\u0161ikovega oksida (NO).<\/strong> Citrulin se lahko v telesu pretvori v aminokislino <a aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/gymbeam.si\/arginin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"ek-link\"><strong>arginin<\/strong><\/a>. Iz nje nato nastane du\u0161ikov oksid, ki vpliva na <strong>\u0161irjenje krvnih \u017eil (vazodilatacija).<\/strong> To omogo\u010da bolj\u0161i pretok krvi v tkiva, kar povzro\u010di <strong>bolj aktivno mi\u0161i\u010dno \u010drpalko.<\/strong> S tem do mi\u0161ic pride ve\u010d kisika in drugih hranilnih snovi, poleg tega pa se u\u010dinkoviteje odstranjujejo odpadni produkti energijske presnove. Vendar pa je te\u017eava v tem, da <strong>va\u0161e telo ne more uporabiti zau\u017eitega arginina tako u\u010dinkovito kot citrulin.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Ko zau\u017eijete arginin, se mora najprej presnoviti v \u010drevesju in jetrih. To lahko zmanj\u0161a njegovo koli\u010dino v krvi, ki je nato na voljo za tvorbo du\u0161ikovega oksida. Nasprotno pa gre ve\u010dina zau\u017eitega citrulina naravnost v kri, kjer se uporabi za pretvorbo v arginin.<sup><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-orange-color\">[3]<\/mark><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Raziskovalci so primerjali tudi kateri, L-arginin ali L-citrulin, bolj pove\u010da raven arginina v telesu. V drugem primeru aminokislina L-citrulin tvori kompleks s soljo jabol\u010dne kisline, znano kot malat. <strong>Slednja je vklju\u010dena v Krebsov cikel, ki proizvaja ATP, osnovni vir celi\u010dne energije.<\/strong> Ta slu\u017ei kot energijsko gorivo za mi\u0161ice, mo\u017egane in pravzaprav celotno telo. Po nekaterih \u0161tudijah lahko dodajanje citrulina <strong>spodbuja absorpcijo amonijaka, kar upo\u010dasni utrujenost in podalj\u0161a telesno zmogljivost.<\/strong> Poleg tega lahko malat prepre\u010di kopi\u010denje mle\u010dne kisline, saj jo pomaga pretvoriti v energijo. <sup><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-orange-color\">[6, 14]<\/mark><\/sup><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Spodbuja proizvodnjo energije:<\/strong> To je bilo dokazano zlasti pri CM. To pa lahko pomaga zavirati katabolizem (razgradnjo mi\u0161i\u010dnega tkiva). Ko zaradi jemanja citrulina vadite dlje, z <strong>ve\u010djo intenzivnostjo ali naredite ve\u010d ponovitev s te\u017ekimi ute\u017emi, va\u0161e mi\u0161ice dobijo ve\u010dji zagon pri treningu kot brez njega.<\/strong> Telo se nato na to obremenitev odzove s prilagoditvenimi procesi, ki vodijo v rast mi\u0161ic. Regeneracija<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Kakovostna regeneracija po vadbi ni klju\u010dnega pomena le za rast mi\u0161ic, temve\u010d tudi za splo\u0161no regeneracijo telesa in pripravo na naslednjo vadbo. Pri tem lahko pomaga tudi citrulin. Avtorji \u0161tudije sklepajo, da bo u\u017eivanje citrulin malata najbolj koristilo \u0161portnikom, ki trenirajo zelo intenzivno, se pripravljajo na tekmovanja ali imajo velik skupni obseg vadbe. <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-orange-color\"><sup>[14]<\/sup><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Vendar lahko ti u\u010dinki koristijo tudi vzdr\u017eljivostnim \u0161portnikom. V eni od raziskav so, na primer, teka\u010di pred polmaratonom spili 500 ml lubeni\u010dnega soka, obogatenega s citrulinom.
