If you do, you can skip this step and continue on. Take <strong>a Hokkaido pumpkin,<\/strong> wash and&nbsp;<strong>cut <\/strong>it into two halves. Leave the skin on the pumpkin, there is no need to peel or trim it yet. <strong>Scoop out the seeds<\/strong> from both halves.<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>Prepare a tray lined with baking paper and place the pumpkin skin side up on it.&nbsp;Put the tray with the pumpkin in the oven&nbsp;<strong>pre<\/strong><strong>heated to approx. 180 \u00b0C and bake until the pumpkin is soft.&nbsp;<\/strong>This takes approximately <strong>30\u201345 minutes<\/strong>&nbsp;(depending on the size of the pumpkin).&nbsp;After baking, peel the pumpkin and <strong>blend the flesh into a fine pur\u00e9e. <\/strong>If it seems too watery, cook it on the stove until you get a thicker consistency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The next step is to prepare the gnocchi. Mix <a class=\"ek-link\" href=\"https:\/\/gymbeam.com\/flours\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"(opens in a new tab)\"><strong>flour<\/strong><\/a> <strong>with salt, add quark cheese, eggs<\/strong> and make a smooth dough that is slightly sticky. <strong>On a floured surface<\/strong>, form the dough into <strong>a thin roll<\/strong> and cut it into small pieces <strong>(about 1 cm wide). <\/strong>Try to make them about the same size so that they cook evenly. When the Parmesan has melted, mix the cooked gnocchi into the sauce, adjust the consistency with milk if needed.
