Kako se znanost, medicina i tehnologija brzo razvijaju, tako je i <strong>veliki napredak na polju genetskog ispitivanja.<\/strong> Kao rezultat toga, vrlo lako mo\u017eete testirati vlastiti DNK i dobiti va\u017ene informacije koje mogu biti povezane s va\u0161im zdravljem, prehranom i cjelokupnim \u017eivotnim stilom. U \u010dlanku obja\u0161njavamo <strong>\u0161to je DNK<\/strong>, kako funkcionira ku\u0107no genetsko testiranje i kako se podaci koje dobijete pomo\u0107u njega mogu <strong>upotrijebiti u va\u0161u korist<\/strong>. Ovo je<strong> &#8220;kod&#8221; \u017eivota koji sadr\u017ei gotovo svaka \u017eiva stanica.<\/strong> Genetski testovi mogu vrlo pa\u017eljivo promatrati DNK, a istodobno mogu otkriti <strong>vrlo va\u017ene informacije ne samo za zdravlje, ve\u0107 i za \u017eivotni stil pojedinca.<\/strong>\r\n\r\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DNK je biolo\u0161ki program unutar na\u0161ih stanica.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Kao \u0161to su ra\u010dunala sastavljena od individualnih dijelova, tako i na\u0161a <strong>tijela tvore stanice.<\/strong> Ti pojedina\u010dni dijelovi ili stanice<strong> sadr\u017ee informacije<\/strong> koje se koriste za njihovu <strong>pravilnu funkciju.<\/strong> To je vrsta <strong>programa koji stanica slijedi<\/strong>. I upravo taj &#8220;program&#8221; u na\u0161em tijelu nazivamo DNK. Mo\u017eete ga zamisliti kao neku vrstu <strong>uvijene spirale koja ima pre\u010dke sli\u010dne onima na ljestvama.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>DNK se sastoji od nekoliko manjih lanaca koji su raspore\u0111eni u <strong>kromosome.<\/strong> <strong>Ukupno imamo 23 para<\/strong>, od kojih polovica dolazi od oca, a druga polovica od majke. <strong>Jedan od tih parova odre\u0111uje spol pojedinca<\/strong> i mo\u017eda ve\u0107 znate da je XX kromosom tipi\u010dan za \u017eene, a XY za mu\u0161karce. Jeste li tako\u0111er znali da:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>ako rastegnete spiralu DNK, njezina je <strong>duljina<\/strong> pribli\u017eno jednaka <strong>udaljenosti izme\u0111u Zemlje i Sunca<\/strong> do tamo i nazad, oko 600 puta,<\/li><li><strong>svi<\/strong> va\u0161i poznanici, prijatelji i kolege <strong>imaju DNK koji je 99,9 % identi\u010dan va\u0161oj,<\/strong><\/li><li>a<strong> DNK \u010dimpanze je 98,7 % identi\u010dna ljudskoj DNK<\/strong><\/li><li>a <strong>banana<\/strong> koju ste upravo pojeli ima DNK koja je <strong>41 %<\/strong> identi\u010dna va\u0161oj. <span style=\"color: #ff6600\">[4\u20135]<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Genetika mo\u017ee utjecati na gotovo svaki aspekt \u017eivota<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Geni pru\u017eaju<strong> odre\u0111ene preduvjete za izgled, sport u kojem biste mogli biti uspje\u0161ni ili kakav \u0107e biti va\u0161 idealan posao.<\/strong> To ne zna\u010di da ste ro\u0111eni i da \u0107ete samo zbog svojih gena zavr\u0161iti kao, recimo, nesportski, pretio uredski radnik ili savr\u0161eno mi\u0161i\u0107avi top menad\u017eer. Mo\u017ee sadr\u017eavati <strong>pogre\u0161ke koje su uro\u0111ene ili ste\u010dene tijekom \u017eivota zbog okoli\u0161a<\/strong> (npr. pu\u0161enje, UV zra\u010denje). Samo malo odstupanje, promjena u &#8220;programu&#8221; stanice i sve u \u010dovjekovom \u017eivotu mo\u017ee biti potpuno druga\u010dije. Poznate <strong>genetske bolesti<\/strong> uklju\u010duju cisti\u010dnu fibrozu ili Downov sindrom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Genetski testovi mogu otkriti promjene na razini DNK.<\/strong> Ispituju kromosome, gene i proteine od kojih nastaje DNK. Zahvaljuju\u0107i tome mogu otkriti je li se kod odre\u0111ene osobe ve\u0107 pojavila neka genetska mutacija ili postoji rizik od toga, a koja stoji iza razvoja bolesti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Po potrebi, informacije o predstoje\u0107em ili teku\u0107em genetskom o\u0161te\u0107enju mogu olak\u0161ati proces pronalaska odgovaraju\u0107eg lije\u010denja.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Ovi testovi djeluju na na\u010din da <strong>ispituju jednu ili vi\u0161e DNK sekvenci<\/strong> koje mogu biti odgovorne za razvoj bolesti ili se, prema njihovom rasporedu, mo\u017ee pretpostaviti, primjerice, intolerancija na hranu.
