Podle pr\u016fzkum\u016f si lid\u00e9 mysl\u00ed, \u017ee odn\u00e1\u0161ej\u00ed do popelnic mnohem m\u00e9n\u011b potravin, ne\u017e tomu je ve skute\u010dnosti. Celosv\u011btov\u011b <strong>nenajde<\/strong> sv\u00e9 <strong>uplatn\u011bn\u00ed<\/strong> v kuchyni zhruba <strong>1\/3 vyprodukovan\u00fdch potravin<\/strong>. To je mno\u017estv\u00ed, kter\u00e9 by nasytilo asi 3 miliardy lid\u00ed. Pr\u016fm\u011brn\u00fd Evropan vyhod\u00ed ro\u010dn\u011b 96 a\u017e 115 kg j\u00eddla. D\u016fsledky takov\u00e9ho pl\u00fdtv\u00e1n\u00ed potravinami maj\u00ed vliv na vy\u0161\u0161\u00ed spot\u0159ebu vody, energi\u00ed a zv\u00fd\u0161enou produkci sklen\u00edkov\u00fdch plyn\u016f, co\u017e nen\u00ed nic dobr\u00e9ho pro planetu. Naopak trvanliv\u00e9 potraviny, jako je r\u00fd\u017ee, mouka nebo granola, se mohou pochlubit datem minim\u00e1ln\u00ed trvanlivosti.
