The Best Chia Pudding Recipes

Chia seeds are an increasingly popular ingredient. They are considered a superfood and are full of dietary fibre, omega 3-fatty acids, potassium, magnesium and antioxidants. Thanks to this, they provide more energy, more stamina and regulate digestion. 

It is easy to add it to your smoothie or sprinkle the salad with them, you can also prepare very simple, tasty and healthy dessert. Here are several tips how to tickle your liquorice tastes. 

1. Orange Chia Pudding

Total time: 10 minutes

Portions: 2

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of milk according own preferences (we usually use almond milk)
  • 1/2 cup of fresh orange juice 
  • a little of orange peel
  • 2 tbsp of honey
  • 1/4 cup of chia seeds

Method: 

1. Mix milk, orange juice, peel and honey.

2. Add chia seeds and mix well.

3. Pour it into bowls or cups and leave for 5-8 minutes.

4. Mix again and put to the fridge for 2 hours or for the night.

5. Before eating, decorate with nuts, coconut or fruit. Enjoy! 

ORANGE CHIA PUDDING

2. Blueberry-Almond Chia Pudding

Total time: 3 minutes

Ingredients:

Method: 

1. Add milk, honey or agave syrup, blueberries and chia seeds into the cup.

2. Mix well, cover with cap and put into the fridge for several hours or for the night.

3. Before eating, sprinkle with almonds. Voilá!

Method: 

1. Mix raspberries with milk to the smooth form. 

2. Pour into cup and add chia seeds.

3. After mixing, put into the fridge for at least 3 hours.

4. Healthy Apple-Cinnamon Chia Pudding

Total time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

Method: 

1. Heat milk, vanilla extract on mild fire for 2-3 minutes. Milk doesn’t have to boil, it is enough when it is heated. 

2. Pour the chia seeds with this milk and mix for 2 minutes until it is absorbed with milk.

4. Finally, leave for 2-3 minutes and sprinkle with coconut flakes, apples and cinnamon.

TIP: If you don’t want warm pudding, pour the chia seeds with milk and mix until it is absorbed with milk. (3-5 minutes) Then add coconut flakes, apples and cinnamon.

5. Vanilla-Cinnamon Chia Pudding With Pomegranate

Total time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

Method: 

1. Mix chia seeds, milk, honey, vanilla extract and ground cinnamon in a big bowl. Take care of mixing it well.

2. Put in the fridge for the night.

3. Finally, pour into caps and decorate with pomegranate seeds.

6. Fresh Mango-Coconut Chia Pudding

Total time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

Method: 

1. Mix coconut milk, chia seeds, grated coconut, agave syrup and vanilla extract in a big bowl. 

2. Leave the mixture for 30 minutes. 

3. Mix it again, cover and put into the fridge for at least 3 hours. 

4. Bowl with chia pudding bring out from the fridge at least 15 minutes before serving.

5. Put sliced mango to the 2-3 cups, then pour chia pudding and again mango. Continue this way until the top of the cup, the latest layer will be mango layer.

6. Finally, sprinkle with grated coconut and serve immediately or put back into the fridge.

FRESH MANGO-COCONUT CHIA PUDDING

7. Chia Pudding with Strawberries and Agave Syrup

Total time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of vanilla and almond milk
  • 1 cup of low fat greek yoghurt
  • 3 tbsp of agave syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp of salt
  • 1/4 cup of chia seeds
  • 1/4 hand of cut and roasted almonds
  • fresh cut strawberries

Method: 

1. Mix almond milk, yoghurt, agave syrup, vanilla and salt in a big bowl.

2. Add chia seeds and leave for 30 minutes. Then mix again, cover and put into the fridge for the night.

3. Next day, mix strawberries, remaining spoon of agave syrup and almonds.

4. Divide pudding into 4 cups or bowls and add strawberry mixture on the top.

CHIA PUDDING WITH STRAWBERRIES AND AGAVE SYRUP

8. Vegan Chia Pudding with Forest Fruit

Total time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of lactose free milk (rice, soy, almond)
  • 4 tbsp of chia seeds
  • 1 and 1/2 tbsp of cane sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • mixture of forest fruit

Method: 

1. Mix milk, sugar and vanilla extract in a small bowl. Add chia seeds and mix well.

2. Cover the bowl and put it into the fridge for the night or until you reach the desired mass density.

3. Decorate the pudding with forest fruit and serve.

VEGAN CHIA PUDDING WITH FOREST FRUITS

9. Banana Chia Pudding with Peanut Butter

Total time: 5 minutes

Method: 

1. Mix bananas, milk and peanut butter in a mixer. Pour into a bowl, add chia seeds and mix well.

2. Cover the bowl and put into the fridge for at least 4 hours or for the night.

2. Before serving, mix again and we can decorate with bananas or almonds.

1. First, mix chia seeds, coconut milk and leave it for 5-10 minutes.

2. Roast coconut on 1/2 tbsp of butter

3. Cut the pineapple on little slices.

4. Put the coconut away from the pan as soon as it gets brown. Add remaining butter with pineapple and let it roast in the pan with the cane sugar.

11. Ginger Chia Cups with Pistachios and Goji

Total time: 15 minutes

Portions: 4 small ones or 2 big ones

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of almond milk
  • 2 SS of cut or grated fresh ginger
  • little of orange crust
  • 1/4 cup of orange juice
  • 2 tbsp of agave syrup
  • 6 tbsp of chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup of peeled and sliced pistachios
  • 1/4 cup of goji

Method: 

1. Mix almond milk, ginger, orange crust, juice and agave syrup.

2. Pour the mixture into a bowl and mix well with chia seeds. Repeat the mixing every 5 minutes for the time period of 20 minutes.

3. Put into the fridge for at least 2 hours.

4. Finally, divide the pudding into 4 small cups or 2 big ones and garnish with pistachios and goji.

 GINGER CHIA CUPS WITH PISTACHIOS AND GOJI

  • 1/4 cup of greek yoghurt
  • 1 cup of cut strawberries
  • 1/2 cup of almond milk

  • 2 tsp of natural sweetener or agave syrup
  • 2 tsp of chia seeds

Method: 

1. Mix yoghurt, almond milk, 1/2 cup of strawberries, vanilla and agave syrup to the smooth form and pink colour.

2. Pour the mixture into a closable cup and mix well. Close the cup and put it into the fridge for the night.

3. Before serving, mix again and decorate with fresh strawberries or raspberries.

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup of greek yoghurt
  • 3 tbsp of chia seeds
  • lemon juice
  • lemon peel
  • 4 tbsp of agave syrup or honey
  • 1 tsp of lemon extract

1. Mix milk, yogurt, lemon juice, peel, agave syrup and lemon extract in big bowl.

2. Add chia seeds and mix well. Cover and put into the fridge for at least 15 minutes.

3. Before serving, sprinkle pudding with little bit of lemon crust and decorate.

1. Mix milk, syrup and vanilla extract in a small bowl. Add chia seeds and mix well.

1. Melt 4 cubes of chocolate on a mild fire in a smaller pot. Add a cup of milk and mix well. Put away from the fire and leave to chill. 

2. Mix the strawberries and a cup of milk. Pour the mixture into bowl and add 3 soup spoons of chia seeds.

3. Pour it into chilled chocolate mixture and add the remaining chia seeds, mix well, cover and put into the fridge for 8 hours or for the night

4. Before serving, check the consistency of chocolate chia pudding. If too dense, add a spoon of milk.

5. Divide raspberry mixture into 2 smallers cups and pour the chocolate mixture as another layer. Complete chia pudding can be decorated with grated chocolate, coconut or fresh raspberries.

1. Mix almond milk and chia seeds and put into fridge for 4 hours or for the night. Can be sometimes mixed. 

2. Decorate with banana, coconut or almonds.

TIP: Pudding can be decorated with crunchy crumbs. Preheat the oven to 350°C and place the baking paper on the metal plate. Then add the coconut flakes and sliced almonds. Bake for 5 minutes and then sprinkle the pudding with this mixture.

1. Mix almond milk, matcha, honey and salt. Add chia seeds and mix well.

2. Put into the fridge for 10 minutes and mix again. Put into the fridge for at least 3 hours. 

3. Finally, decorate with fruit or matcha.

22. Chia Pudding with Walnuts and Agave Syrup

Total time: 15 minutes

Portions: 4

Ingredients:

Method: 

1. Mix almond milk, chia seeds, agave syrup. Put into the fridge for the night.

2. Next morning, mix the pudding and if it’s not dense enough, put back into the fridge.

3. Preheat the oven on 190°C. On the metal plate with baking paper, place the walnut and bake for 5-8 minutes until they get brown.

4. Divide chia pudding into the cups or bowls, sprinkle with walnuts and decorate with agave syrup.

Tip: Pudding can be decorated with bananas, fresh forest fruit, peaches or mangoes.

CHIA PUDDING WITH WALNUTS AND AGAVE SYRUP

23. Green Chia Pudding

Total time: 10 minutes

Portions: 2

Ingredients:

  • 1 middle size banana
  • 1 cup of greek yoghurt
  • 1/2 cup of unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 hands of baby spinach 
  • 2 tbsp of maple or agave syrup
  • pinch of salt
  • 5 tbsp of chia seeds
  • fresh forest fruit

Method: 

1. Mix banana, yoghurt, almond milk, baby spinach, syrup and salt in mixer.

2. Pour the mixture into a bowl, add chia seeds and mix well. Put into the fridge for 3 hours.

3. Pudding divide into two cups or bowls and decorate with granola or fruit.
